A waterproof nappy bag provides storage for wet nappies when out and about. It closes with a drawstring and is washable up to 60 degrees, and comfortably holds up to 5 nappies.
Once you’ve got into the habit of using cloth nappies, you’ll want to be able to take them out and about with you. Of course, you can use plastic bags or nappy sacks for this purpose, although that is rather against the environmental credentials of your cloth nappies!
When you go out, you can take: a few wipes, a washable change mat and a spare nappy in a washable change bag in the bottom of the buggy. If you need to do a nappy change, the used nappy and wipes go in the bag and the change pad gets popped in the bottom of the buggy. When you go home, it all goes in the nappy bucket.
The waterproof nappy bags are ideal for daycare - you’ll probably need two so one is in use while the other is in the wash, if your child goes to daycare every day. The other time they are good is when you don’t have room for a nappy bucket in your home - two nappy bags should be enough to contain your nappies smell-free in your laundry basket.
Our latest stock of these white bags has a wash label that states 50, though in our experience they can be washed at 60, and so are ideal for washing with the nappies.
Finally, a customer tip: the waterproof bag we sell perfectly covers a Tommy Tippee portable potty, instead of the disposable liners they sell.
