Nappy Overview

Anavy Fitted Onesize is a shaped nappy that is super absorbent and soft. Anavy Fitted Onesize fastens with poppers at the waist which remains the most popular fastening as it's so long lasting and secure. The tabs can be crossed over to make the waist snugger on a baby at the bottom of the weight range.   The length of the nappy is altered via the poppers on the main body of the nappy.

Sizing

Being a onesize nappy it's designed to fit "almost" from birth.

Starting from 4.5kgs /10lbs up to approx 15kgs/35lbs.

If you wanted to start using cloth nappies before 10lbs then you'll need a newborn nappy. Anavy make a newborn option or for a more economical choice don't overlook folded muslin nappies.

How do I use it?

Anavy Fitted Onesize is a two part nappy so  requires a separate wrap over the top.
Popular wrap choices over this nappy include:
Anavy Wool Wrap
Motherease Airflow
Vento
Petit Lulu Pull Up
Thirsties Duos.

Each nappy comes with two bamboo inserts included , these can be removed for a small baby or daytime and then added in for higher absorbency for nights and older children.

Nappy Fabric

The nappy fabric composition:
lining and inserts: 80% viscose (bamboo), 20 % polyester (from recycled PET bottles)
inner layer: 80% cotton, 20% polyester
outer layer: 100% cotton / 95% cotton, 5% elastane / 80% cotton, 20% polyester (varies with different fabrics)

All fabrics are certified as suitable for babies under 3 years. Latex free elastics. There may be markings that disappear after washing. The color of snaps and thread may vary from photograph.

Care & Warranty

Anavy Care Guide

We recommend starting with a separate rinse cycle with a spin to wash out the urine so that the main cycle will use clean water. Do not add any detergent to the rinse cycle.

When the rinse cycle is complete, run the main washing program at 60°C. We recommend only washing at 60°C, not at 40°C. You can add any light-coloured laundry to the washing machine.

You can use any commercially available washing powder or gel. However, we do not recommend using homemade soap and soda mixture because there is a risk of build-up in your laundry and washing machine.

When washing nappies, it is very important not to overfill the washing machine. Also, it is useful to choose the "More Water" option if your washing machine allows it. Do not use "ECO" washing programs when washing nappies. Spin at the highest speed your washing machine allows.

Do not use fabric softener or any bleach (oxygen or chlorine)! Do not remove stains manually by scrubbing.

Dry the nappies on a line or in a tumble dryer on a gentle program. To speed up the drying process, you can place the clothes dryer near a heater. Do not dry the nappies directly on a heater. Sun-drying is also convenient, as the sun bleaches the stains very well. But make sure the print side of the nappy does not face the sun because the colours may fade.

Very pretty nappy! My 5 year old even remarked on it! Nice and soft, fits my chubby baby well, doesn’t leave any marks on his delicate skin, and is quite absorptive.

This is a lovely looking nappy. If, like me, your kid likes to wonder round outside in the summer with just one of their two parter system on, it’ll look darn cute (although obviously be damp!) The two inserts it comes with means you can switch up as you like depending if you add any more boosters in there. Fluted edges mean you’d probably need a wool wrap or an anavy pull up like we have! It does fit like a dream though and doesn’t seem to take as long to dry as other two partners.
