This is the fabulous Version 2 Little Lamb One Size pocket nappy. It is an extremely cost effective nappy and available at a very reasonable price which helps in these tough times.

You will find lots of cheap pocket nappies on Ebay at rediculously low prices, but these are often made abroad and may not meet EU safety standards. With Little Lambs Onesize, they are a well known and trusted UK brand, with a great reputation. These nappies are made in Turkey and conform to all EU regulations and have fabric Oeko Teks safety certification. This means the Little Lambs Onesize have poppers securely fastened to the nappies at the safety levels required for baby clothing. All parts of fabric production and product manufacturing are chemically safe and conform to the highest stipulated safety standards required for baby clothing. Are you sure that cheapy unbranded nappy offers your baby the same?

Little Lamb OSFA nappies fasten with poppers and have three settings of length adjusting poppers as well. It fits from approx 10-35lbs. It's a fairly generous length so a good option for taller babies but may come up a bit long initially on short newborns.

The nappy comes with two large little lambs booster pads made from bamboo. As both pads are a large size this is why i recommend this nappy from 10lbs rather than birth. Each little lambs booster holds approx 97ml so how many boosters you need to use depends on the baby, some will get away with one for a while, some will need two and some might need boosting with additional boosters. Alternatively some people just have a few more nappies as they are so cheap anyway and then just change more frequently. Changing more frequently is always a good thing anyway!

I would still recommend you use a two part nappy for night times such as the bumble or bamboozle stretchy and Motherease wrap. The second insert would make a good night time booster with these nappies.

The nappy is fully lined with a super-soft microfleece that draws away moisture to the inner insert protecting baby's skin. The elastic is super soft to prevent chaffing baby's skin. Little Lambs have gone to great lengths to find an American -made elastic that with proper laundry care will last.

We do not expect the nappies to last more than one baby. If you're on a tight budget (and many people are now adays), you want a modern pocket nappy but can't afford the more expensive premium brands such as Bumgenius or Charlie Banana then this nappy will allow you to cloth nappy at a very reasonable price.

I purchased the one size nappies on the recommendation . They are so easy to use and for me with a sometime wriggly baby a lot less struggle than disposable. A great service offered from the Nappy lady and always feel I can ask more questions to ensure I am using correctly.

My daughter in law loves these - they last a good 4 hours. Absolute bargin in the sale - less than the cost of one pack of single use nappies and they will last for the next grandchild.

Love these nappies
Monday, 22 May 2017  |

We are really happy with our little lamb pockets. Have been using since baby was about 4 weeks, she is now 4 months. We have never had a leak though occasionally if left for too long have had a little dampness just on the edge of the leg. They dry almost immediately, we dry the boosters outside as we live abroad they dry really quickly too but I imagine they wouldn't take too long indoors or with a quick whizz inn the dryer.
The patterns are great and we get a lot of admirers when out and about in these! I like to think they've actually helped convert a few to cloth! The designs are irresistible! Hoping they will see us to potty days as they seem to be wearing well.

Cheap and simply the best

I love those pocket nappies, depending of the inserts used they are simply leak free. I normally use one slim bamboo insert provided by the seller already plus one thick bamboo insert and this is just perfect, even for my 20 months old who uses potty occasionally!

very nice, cheap pocket
Tuesday, 11 April 2017  |

Fabric is nice and soft, and seems very comfortable for baby. I like the way the pocket overlaps so it really closes the insert on the inside. The two pads it comes with are a little thin, but I added a little lambs triple booster and now they work perfectly. Really great for the price!

I purchased these for my 1 year old (18lbs) to use at nursery. My nursery love them and I used them before she went back after Christmas and I adored them. So easy to use, very absorbent, no leaks so far and easy to wash and dry.

Every one should have these in there stash!

In reality isn't fit all/one size
Saturday, 7 January 2017  |

Marketed as birth to potty, but I've found that this nappy is too big for my 3 month old, even on the smallest fitting, and therefore leaks out of the back of the legs. I am hopeful it will fit when he is bigger as I bought 5 of them! I use other brands of all-in-one birth to potty nappies which have been fine.

Response:

Sorry to hear you've found the nappy too big. There is a compromise on fit with any birth to potty nappy and this is usually at the lower end of the weight range when baby is small. It's unusual not to fit a 3month old unless baby is very small. Please send us a photo and we'd be more than happy to check the fit for you.

I use these nappies manly at home as they aren't as absorbent as other brands. However they are excellent value for money and keep it all contained. Just remember to change them regularly if you have a heavy wetter. Great product to start my cloth nappy addiction.

Brilliant nappy
Tuesday, 28 June 2016  |

Love this nappy, we've been using full time for a couple of months now and no problem with leaks through the day or stuffed with extra inserts it works at night also. The main nappy dries very quickly so have bought extra inserts for a quick turn around as no tumble drier. I trialed lots of the popular makes such as bumgenius and charlie banana. The little lambs seemed to work as well as the others for a fraction of the price and fits my short 14lb little lady very well. Love all the bright colours also!

Sunday, 20 December 2015  |

These nappies are fantastic.
They're a great price and with the 10 for £55 deal they are really good to start a stash off with like i did.
My son is a heavy wetter and can poop for days and these contain it all. I am more than impressed with their performance especially after reading a couple of negative reviews, however those may be down to expecting these nappies to last for hours and hours at a time.
I'm used to changing my son every 2-3 hours and they're perfect for that duration.

If you're in any doubt, roll the dice and go with these. I've found that Little Lambs generally as a brand very trustworthy overall.

Little Lamb Onesize (OSFA) V2 Pocket Nappy
Wednesday, 9 December 2015  |

These nappies are very good as they're affordable and not too bulky, however, the absorbency is as good as Bumgenius nappies. Generally I need to change my baby every 2 hours, whereas a Bumgenius is normally okay for 3 hours. I think it's important to change nappies regularly so I don't mind using the Little lambs but they do tend to start leaking if I don't manage to change the nappy within 2 hours, for instance if I'm out and about. On the whole I'd recommend these though.

I bought these as a back up for the short period of time before and after nursery. The fit isn't as good as the bumgenius one's I have and neither is the absorbency (though could be because they've not been used and washed as much yet), but I could get 10 of these for the price of 4 of the others. I only use these when I know they will only be on for an hour or so. Don't trust them to last 3-4 hours like the bumgenius.

I have only the one of these nappies as I don't find the fit as good for my chunky baby.

They were good at first but they now leak at the seam
Wednesday, 12 November 2014  |

I am not a fan of these nappies. I was really pleased at first but they seem to be leaking from the seam now. I don't know if they have lost elasticity, but they leak easily even if I think I have attached the poppers tight enough. And it's not because of the boosters (Iusually put 2 LL boosters in) as they are only a little wet. Maybe it's because my son is quite chubby and tall for his age( 5 month, 8.6 kg already and wearing clothes size 9-12 month already). I prefer the Bumgenius but they Bumgenius are more expensive

I´ve tried many different brands: omäiki, applecheeks, imsevimse, for example. I think the Little Lamb onesize V2 are really good. The baby´s skin is not all wet and they can manage to keep the poop and the pee wihtout any chaotic situation with the clothes. No one would expect that they will save all the clothes of beeing dirty ad washed.... they are washable diapers! I am really glad with those and they are as much as good as the applecheek and omäiki for a lower price, so what else should I ask? Just go for it!

Great value for money
Friday, 24 October 2014  |

I am not totally green, I bought those nappies to use in home. Most of the time my baby uses only two disposable (green ones - I don't understand how people can buy those horrible smelly chemicals one)per day.
In the past we all used cloth nappies and we all survived. This one are not the slimmer in the market - which isn't a problem for us.

yes bamboo take ages to dry because they are good absorber.
I bought a pack of extra bamboo buster, so I always have dry booster to replace my wraps, which dry very quickly.
No leak, no nappy rash.
If you want to save money. Go for it. They will use only for two years. I don't want to spend a fortune on it.
Thanks LL to make a good deal. Cheap, efficient, looks lovely, save the environment.

Unreliable
Monday, 22 September 2014  |

Good value?-Yes. Works?-No.
This is my least reliable and least favourite nappy. We''ve been using it for nearly 6m (since my baby was about 5 weeks old) and it always leaks so it is the 'first thing in the morning nappy'. I've tried different rise settings and different insert combinations (including those from other pocket nappies) and it always fails.
I have friends who love these nappies but they're not for us.
I think the problem is the stretchy cover. I put it on the smallest possible rise setting and do the waist and legs up as tight as possible, but when it comes to change (1-2hrs when it leaks) I've noticed the cover seems to have relaxed and be wrapping tighter around the inserts, leaving the leg holes gaping. The inserts are mostly dry so I don't think absorption is the problem.
Definitely suggest to try before you buy. They may be better on a toddler who wees less often and has chunkier legs.

This is an economy nappy and has fairly low absorbency so needs to be change frequently or boosted. How long it lasts depends on the age of baby and how many boosters you're using with it.

Wouldn't have these as your only cloth nappy
Sunday, 31 August 2014  |

We have 2 Little Lambs and 6 Bumgenius 4.0 in our stash and we definitely prefer the BGs to the LL, but are glad we tried the LLs. Because they are bamboo they took about 10 washes to get to maximum absorbency so they were about 50% reliable during the first stage. Since then we've only had a few leaks but we only use them for 3 hours (max) at a time and only in the house. The bamboo inserts also take about 18 hours to dry (inside) in the summer. We wash them in the evening and by the morning the BG inserts are pretty much dry while the LL inserts aren't even close.

Friday, 29 August 2014  |

I bought 2 of these to try to put in my changing bag. They are lovely bright colours (I have yellow and green),and are soft. They dry really quickly which is important to me, however the bamboo boosters don't so I have had t buy some microfibre boosters for when I can't get bamboo dry. They last about 3 hours in my 3 month old, who is a heavy wetter, which is great. I don't use them at home or night as I prefer a 2 parter to cintqin explosive breast fed nappies, but they do the job for pee.

A washable nappy that dries very quickly, has plenty of room in the pocket for extra boosters and has easy poppers for altering the size from birth to potty.
The bamboo liner is useful for night times, but has a prohibitively long drying time for us as we have no tumble drier, so I prefer to use microfibre instead.
It is perhaps not the most attractive nappy, but is definitely a practical, good value buy.

Great nappy, great value
Thursday, 24 July 2014  |

I didn't want to spend a fortune on reusable nappies to then find out they weren't for me, so I got these. I had a baby girl weighing 8lb and I waited a few weeks before starting to use them, as it was recommended to use from 10lb. She was just under 10lb when I started. I have had minimal leaks, I would say maybe two wee leaks and two poo leaks. The leaks seem to be very random too, as in that at the moment she is 9 weeks and she is sleeping 5-6 hours at night before waking and she doesn't leak with two inserts. Yet, the leaks have been on occasions during the day when she has maybe only had the nappy on a couple of hours. So I really can't complain about the few leaks she has had.

The only thing I would say is that the new blue and red ones seem slightly bigger and are definitely looser than my yellow and greens that I originally ordered.

They wash well at 30 degrees as recommended and the colours don't run. I have yellows, greens, purples, reds, blues! If any inserts come out a little yellow stained, then the sun soon sorts that out.

Overall I am very happy with these nappies and I would definitely recommend them. They are a bargain too. I haven't bothered trying any other brands as I am more than happy with these.

Think I've cracked our leak problem
Saturday, 12 July 2014  |

I bought these to replace our Bumgenius v4 and freetime collection for our second child. I wanted to carry on cloth napping but couldn't afford a whole new premium set so this deal looked good.
With two inserts I had quite regular leaks, sometimes within an hour, so I added a third insert. Still more leaks. My last idea was to use two inserts together and fold the third insert in half over the other two and use the extra padding at the front of the nappy where the leaks were worst (my 2nd is a boy). I also found this made the nappy easier to stuff. Too daffy for some people but I thought I'd share it as it's helped us get to the 3 hour mark. Only good for boys though, I guess.

Not great for tall thin babies
Friday, 27 June 2014  |

these were a first time buy as I was new to motherhood and wanted a cloth nappy that went from early days to potty training.
disappointed with the fitting right from start perhaps because I have a long thin ish baby, but have found although there are plenty of settings that no fit has been leakproof.
and now baby is only 9 months old and starting to outgrow the nappies but still have leaks.
I would not recommend for tall or thin babies. also have found I need to put in three inserts just to hold out for an hour or so.
in defense of product it is quality materials, nice soft lining, has done well at a fair few washes and although not fast at drying with bamboo inserts takes two days to dry indoors. I wanted to like it but just not found it good personally.

Response:

Sorry to hear you've not got on with these nappies. They are an economy nappy so you will need to boost these later on and this can be quite substantial boosting as they are low absorbency (but also very low price). Any birth to potty will be bigger and looser on a small baby but we do warn these are better once baby is getting nearer 10/12lbs rather than straight from birth. If you have a tall baby you do need tall nappies and little lambs do come up quite short so best to get other brands instead such as bumgenius elemental or miosolo.

I am fairly happy with our little lambs though I find the bamboo inserts take a really long time to dry (unless it happens to be a nice hot sunny day). Wednesday, 11 June 2014  |

I'm really happy with these nappies. Had a bit of trial and error getting the fit and boosting right to begin with, but i think we've cracked it now and get 2-3hrs. I had to wait til my boy was 3 months to use these (even though he was a big baby), and I'm impressed at how well they handle poop explosions compared with disposables we used to use! I do wish they could be washed at higher temps though as I'm not convinced they're getting clean enough at 30. I rinse in machine then do a long wash at 30 with a tablespoon of non-bio powder but find they are still stained - what do others do?? Otherwise they are great and I'd definitely buy more in future.

Great price and stash filler
Wednesday, 28 May 2014  |

These little nappies are great for the money. We find they are not as reliable as some others we own (bumgenius and blueberry) if you want it to last more than two hours. I boost ours with an extra hemp insert as well as the two bamboo inserts supplied. This lasts about three hours. We do have a heavy wetter mind you and absorbency definitely improves the more washes and wears you do. Certainly for poo containment I can't fault them.

The pockets are a good size but a little sticky to stuff although you soon get used to them.

Inserts take about 24 hours to air dry in a draught; the nappies themselves dry overnight on an airer so if you don't have a tumble drier a few spare inserts would be a good idea.

They are pretty slim fitting (even with our extra boosting) and come in fun colours. Jut wish the poppers were coloured not white.

Overall great for bulking up your stash and a good workhorse which is excellent value but doesn't absorb quite as well as some other brands.

Monday, 12 May 2014  |

I was initially impressed by the fit of these on my. 9 month old twins. They however always seem to leak. I thought this might be due to them needing more washes, to make the fleece allow the wee through and the bamboo reach full absorbsion. I have tried using alternatuve inserts, but they still leak so far. The bamboo inserts are fairly thin and seem to get soaked fast.. And take ages to dry. However I will preserver in the hope they perform better after further washes as the fit is good and fabric good quality and nice bright colours. They are too small for my chunky 2.5 year old so not so good for larger older children.

Saturday, 19 April 2014  |

I bought these nappies for my 2wk old as the newborn nappies she was originally in, had quite a tight fit. I was really unsure of these as they are significantly cheaper than other nappies, but I needed something desperately so I gave them a go.

I bought 5 at the time (though I wish I bought the ten now!). The colours are darker than other nappies around, but that doesn't really matter at all. They fit wonderfully for a newborn and will grow with your child. Each nappy comes with 2 boosters which is fantastic! However, I am only using the one booster at the moment as that's all we need. The boosters are lovely and soft and very absorbent. The nappies are very absorbent - I haven't had a single leak yet, and my newborn will sleep with one on at night, for 6 hours!!

These nappies are not bulky at all either compared to some others out there. I haven't had to use any bodysuit extenders nor have I needed to buy bigger clothing to fit around the nappy.

I would highly recommend buying these nappies whether you are on a tight budget or not!

I keep buying more!

I should have taken advantage of the 10 for £50 offer as I keep coming back to buy more of these nappies. They are very slim fitting which is good on my dainty daughter, and I'm hoping that being adjustable they will last a good long while. They dry very quickly and wash easily, I also like the little flap of microfibre that covers the entrance to the pocket, as it stops poo from going in there! It is this that makes them better than the other Little Lamb pocket nappies, in my opinion. Using two bamboo inserts is about right, as that will allow two or three hours of wear without being bulky. These nappies are surprisingly good at containing very runny poo, we have had far fewer leaks than with disposables. Lovely colours as well, the jade being the first I bought as a trial, and still my favourite.

Bulky

I must say that these nappies are really cute and I really like the bright colour and softness of the material. Unfortunately they are too bulky and not as absorbent as I was expecting.

Response:

Sorry you found these nappies bulky they are best used on babies 12lbs+ and then they are quite slim relative to many others. They are an economy nappy though and they low absorbency but can be boosted.

Love Love Love these nappies

I bought a small pack of expensive nappies pre-birth. BIG mistake. They are GREAT but not for my baby. I then trialled from a nappy library, scoured reviews and, as a loaned Little lamb one size worked well from the library I purchased one, along with a mix of others that had good reviews and seemed appropriate. For my 9 month, 15lb, slim, long limbed daughter these nappies are FANTASTIC. I purchased another 10. The liners and style of nappy allow the legs to rest closer together than all of the other one size nappies I have. I do forsee however, that these will probably need replacing quicker than the more expensive brands I have.
