Motherease Onesize nappies have become a firm favourite and are reliable stand-by in many a nappy system. Motherease Onesize is a birth to potty nappy and keeps its looks well and that makes it an excellent choice for use with more than one child or where you intend to sell them on – the nappies that is, not the children!
This is our stretchy Cotton Terry diaper with our specially knit Stay Dry fabric sewn to the inside. The high tech fabric quickly wicks away moisture leaving baby's skin dry to the touch. This lightweight, 100% polyester fabric helps prevent diaper rash, reduces staining and rinses easily. This diaper is available in Unbleached Stretchy Cotton Terry with White Stay Dry inner. When washing the `One Size Stay Dry` it is recommended that you only wash 5-8 nappies at any one time to prevent pilling of the fabric. However, this will not affect the performance of the nappy so it is usually best to accept that pilling might occur and wash the usual quantity of 12 nappies every other day.
This terry fabric is specially knit with 70% Bamboo / 30% Cotton touching your baby's delicate skin. Polyester is knit into the base of the fabric to provide strength, durability and shrinkage control. Our Bamboo Terry is available in its natural unbleached finish.
This terry is specially knit with only cotton touching your baby's delicate skin, polyester is knit into the base of the fabric to provide strength, durability and shrinkage control. The result is a very reliable product. Our cotton terry is available in white, unbleached or colors.
About Coloured Nappies
Motherease colored fabrics and bindings are custom dyed using low impact synthetic dyes. Low impact dyes have been classified by the Oeko Tex 100 standard as eco-friendly. Low impact dyes do not contain toxic chemicals, require less rinsing and have a high absorption rate in fabric (less waste in the dyeing process). This is the dye of choice for many organic clothing manufacturers that want a diverse set of colors. The inside panel remains white for hygienic reasons (stool examination and urine concentration levels need to be comparable between diaper changes).
Snap in Pads (Daytime Booster)
Please note that the MEOS has a pop-in pad that is sold separately. The pad can be used all the time when the baby is older and the nappy is no longer shortened. This pad is not a night booster but is really an integral part of the nappy.
Relatively fast drying for a shaped nappy
Fantastic poo containment, especially of explosive breastfed poo
Very durable elastic and fastenings do not wear out - usually good for two children at least
Short pile terry is good for hard water areas and for drying over radiators as it does not go as 'crunchy' as more traditional looped terry
Flexible usage - can be used without the pop-in pad for less bulk or with the stay dry pop in pad instead of the matching normal white/unbleached one.
Choice of white, unbleached , bamboo, colours or organic cotton
Stay Dry version also available (unbleached only) which has a polyester lining to enable wetness to be wicked away, keeping your baby’s skin dry. Very good for those little ones with a more sensitive skin or eczema.
Not the most immediately intuitive nappy whilst on the newborn setting, therefore not recommended for children going to nursery around 3 months
Between 9 and 12 months might be a tight fit when children are at their maximum baby chubbiness, before they become more mobile and slim down dramatically. (It is possible to buy cheap extenders to manage during this period)..
A very tall child might find these nappies sit quite low on the hips towards toilet training and ‘builder’s bum’ may develop. If this happens you may need a few nappies that have a more generous fit.
