PeeNut system is an extremely economical nappy system. PeeNut provides plenty of flexibility on absorbency, fit and is very easy to use.

There are two parts to the PeeNut system:

Wrap (waterproof cover).
The PeeNut wrap is made from lovely soft PUL and comes in either size 1 6-18lbs or the size 2 birth to potty option (9-35lbs). If you want to use PeeNut immediately from birth then we recommend you use the size 1 wraps as they will provide a much snugger fit. If you are on a tighter budget then you can go straight to the size 2. Inside the PeeNut wrap are two poppers that are used for securing the PeeNut nappy/insert.

Nappy
The PeeNut nappy/insert is made of Bamboo. The bamboo fabric is the same as you find in the incredibly popular and long term best seller Bamboozles. Each PeeNut insert consists of two separate pads which can be used separately or poppered together for an older child or for more absorbency. The PeeNut inserts securely popper into the PeeNut wrap so they can’t move around.

PeeNut is a nappy that crosses many “nappy categories.” It is a flat nappy like the Bumgenius Flip or Milovia Inserts. When you change the PeeNut you take the inserts out and replace with clean ones and reuse the cover approx 4-5 times between washes. Being a flat nappy it’s very economical as there isn’t any elastic in the pad, Velcro etc so the price is kept low. Being a flat nappy there is a compromise on containment so you will find you’ll go through more wraps than you would with a nappy such as the Bamboozle.
PeeNut could also be seen to be an all in one system like the Easyfits . Once the PeeNut inserts are secured into the cover there is just one layer to put on baby. You could if you wanted to buy a PeeNut wrap for each insert and use it as an all in one and never take the inserts out. Using PeeNut as an all in one will make the system more expensive but makes it even simpler to change.

A lot of thought has been put into the PeeNut system. The PeeNut wraps are designed to secure the PeeNut inserts but you can use the PeeNut wraps over other nappies such as the bamboozles or other fitted nappies. Ideal if you have a mixture of nappies in your system. PeeNut inserts can also be used as boosters in other nappies. The bamboozle is a very popular choice for night time, the poppers on the PeeNut inserts are in the same position as in the Bamboozles so you can use the PeeNut inserts as night time boosters and secure them inside.

I find these really good on my 2 month old. They are trim fitting. Soft. Easy to use. No leaks. However they are no good on my almost 2 year old. They aren't absorbant enough and the larger wee's all at once seem to flood the nappy and then they leak.

Very colourful

The actual wrap is more colourful than what it looks on a picture so very nice pattern. I like peenut nappies as they are fairly slim and absorbent and you just replace the insert and can reuse the wrap.

Good daytime nappy
Wednesday, 15 February 2017  |

Very pleased with this nappy. The wrap material is soft and stretchy and seems comfortable. After washing the peanut pad several times, daytime absorption is very good. The only downside is that the wrap flaps in front and back are easy to get poo on, so I can usually only use the wrap once before changing. But once my baby stops pooing so frequently, I think I'll be able to go two or three pads before changing the wrap. Good containment, never had a leak or poo accident.

I like these as you can get more in the nappy bucket but you do.have to touch a soaking piece of cloth when changing.

Good slim system
Thursday, 5 January 2017  |

I use the wrap over other nappies and works great, never had leak onto clothes. When using with peenut pads the nappy is nice and slim but I tend to change it more frequently than 2 part system. Breastfed poo tends to get on the wrap but is contained well within it, just have to change the wrap after poo. I keep wrap and just change pads if nappy just wet though!
My baby is slim and fits well.

Love this Nappy!

I think that the peenut nappy system is fab! It's mor economical because at the moment I can use a big pad or a small pad an it still lasts 3-4 hours with no problem, and it's also so slim looking compared to other nappies! The outer wrap is also really soft and the elastic doesn't rub my sons legs or waist. However, I don't use it as an out and about nappy because of this (main choice for out and about is bambino mio or easyfit star). This is because although the outer wrap is soft and contains poo plosions well, I think if I couldn't change him right away and he was moving there would be slight leakage out the side. Although I think they'll between the edge of the wrap and the insert is a good poo container! (Tmi) Taking that into account its a fantastic nappy and it's the one I always reach for when at home. The wraps dry well and the inserts can be tumbled on low which is great! Definetley re commend.

Go to nappy for being out and about.

Love this nappy for when we are out travelling. Fits really well and is relatively slim despite the wide seat. Quite absorbent I have tried it overnight on my 5 month old and It managed no problem. I bought extra peanut pads as I find that for a wet nappy just swapping out the inserts instead of the whole nappy saves so much space I'm my change bag.

Excellent nappy
Wednesday, 3 August 2016  |

We are now using the PeeNut nappy for 6 months and still very happy with the system. The nappy had a good fit from birth (our son was 10 lbs at birth). During the first months we had some leaks, but the Nappy Lady advised us to fold the large insert, so that (for a boy) more absorbency is at the front and this really helped. We always use both inserts which works great during the day. At night, we use the bamboozle stretchies with the PeeNut wrap and use the large PeeNut insert as booster. This means we do not need to do nappy changes at night anymore. I use self made fleece liners or paper liners for catching the poo and a stay dry feel. The PeeNut inserts dry fairly quickly. I try to hang them outside as much as possible which really helps to remove stains as well, but also inside the nappies are usually dry in the evening when washing is done in the morning. When we are on holiday we use disposable nappies and then we have dirty clothes with almost every nappy, which rarely happens with the PeeNut nappy. So containment is cleary much better than with disposables. Very happy about this nappy!

Peenut doing grand
Wednesday, 6 July 2016  |

Thought I'd give the new peenut a try and so far it doesn't disappoint. My lo is a little on the petite side so I need to make sure the wrap is snug around the legs. Fit can be tricky on smaller babies and had a leak or two this way. However now we have the knack there has been no issues.

Pads are absorbent too, I tend to use one of the pads with another booster such as a cbi. What you choose to put in the peenut can be pretty flexible. It's slim fitting and now weaning is well under way then we have less explosive nappies and the wrap can be reused leading to a lot less laundry

Me and my baby both love them!
Monday, 13 June 2016  |

I brought one complete Peenut nappy and two spare pads to use at night. I love how easy this system is and how the Peenut wrap can be used for a couple of nights by just changing the pads. They are on par absorbency wise with the bamboozle but this system I find slightly less bulky.

Easy to use
Wednesday, 14 October 2015  |

I bought this as i liked the concept of the clipping in and out of inserts and re using the wrap more than once. My husband likes theses also however the BTP is too big for my 8 week old and therefore i am now looking at getting some size 1 wraps which fit much better. I only wish the complete starter kit could have a mixture of sizes.
