The seat protector works well in the pushchair or the cat seat, however it's worth checking with your car seat manufacturer as a seat protector like this may not be approved for use.

It's fairly absorbent, it caught quite a large wee, and is much easier to wash than the pushchair or the car seat! Also works well for keeping "snack mess" off the pushchair. I like that it doesn't move about due to the fleece backing and that it is shaped so it doesn't affect the fit of the harness.

However, only four stars for me as it could do with being a little deeper to catch boy wee at the front...

I absolutely love the idea of these, and it's a super sweet design, but I've found that they aren't actually approved for use in car seats so I can't use it for what I bought it for... Car seat manufacturers advise against adding anything to the seat that they haven't tested as it has the ability to impact the seat's performance in a crash. I'm disappointed this is isn't highlighted to be honest and that I only found out via another parent then contacting the manufacturer myself. So lovely design, but not actually useful for the intended purpose.

These are great for minor leaks in the car and for protecting your car seat cover slightly. Whilst it won't hold a full wee, it will help to prevent complete saturation if accidents happen. These are a great funky design and fit a lot of car seats

We like this because it matches our travel change mat and helps keep our car seat clean! Easy to pull out and brush away crumbs from snacks etc. Haven’t really put it to use in terms of any moisture (nappies or travel sickness!) just yet but it looks like it would help avoid the need to wash the car seat if it wasn’t too major an accident.

This is bigger and deeper than a similar protector I had for my first child. It has lots of absorbency as well was waterproofing

I realise the description said the seat liners would only absorb small amounts of wee, but I find that every time my kid wees in the car, regardless of the amount, it goes straight through this cover and I end up washing the car seat.

Easy to fit and good to know it's there. Fortunately haven't found out how much it holds as no accidents yet....but also handy for collecting the crumbs we said we would never have!

Really pleased with this product.. Can't give it 5 stars as have no idea on absorbency as 'touch wood' not experienced accident in the car yet.. But it fits well and my little girl loves it

Our twin girls love this protector. But when they do have wee accidents (when they fall asleep in a car, then wake up with very wet bum), I'd say 30% of wee would end up on the car seat, as this protector is not big enough to cover their bottom. Still it's better than nothing, plus our girls cannot wait to sit on their 'owl' seats.

I bought one of these as a pre-emptive measure to avoid having to fully strip the car seat for small accidents. Although no accidents have happened - so I can't fully comment on the effectiveness in those terms - I can say it fits well into our Britax 123 seat and acts as a crumb catcher quite nicely. It isn't very big, which I was concerned about with my tall toddler, but it doesn't get in the way either.
