The Sandy's are one of the best loved, most absorbent fitted nappies available on the market. An industry leader, the Sandy's was the very first nappy to sport the front over back side closure design. The style and fit of the Sandy’s is similar to that of a disposable nappy.
A full set of high tech, never fail, elastics both in the waist front and waist back and at the leg openings ensures all bowel movements will remain contained, no matter the consistency. These little gems close at the sides using plastic snaps with a front over back design.
Sandys are a generous length and stretchy making them suitable for the vast majority of children including those taller than average or chunky monkeys. Slimmer children fit in them well but will stay in the smaller width settings for longer. The stretch terry fabric and popper fastenings mean that some people like to use it as a trainer pull-up pant but with the added advantage of the full absorbency of a proper nappy. Many children are potty trained before reaching 35lbs and so will not need the Toddlease size of nappy. If however you do have a larger child the ToddleEase; which is another name for an XL Sandys, is suitable for children over 35lbs and when boosted makes a fantastic and reliable night nappy as well.
Sandy's Dry is available in three sizes, giving you the best fit as baby grows.
Sandys nappy are a two part system. The Sandys is the nappy part and over the top you will need to put a separate waterproof wrap/cover. The most popular wrap to use is the Mother-ease Airflow wrap. Inside the Sandys you use a separate liner to make cleaning pooey nappies easier. The liner can be either disposable or reusable fleece. When you come to change the nappy you will reuse the cover and just change the inner Sandys nappy and liner. The Sandys nappy can also be used for night time with an additional booster.
The boosters on the side of the nappy allow you to adjust the waist and leg settings independently making them ideal if your baby has a slim waist and chubby legs or vice versa. The side poppers are also ideal for tummy sleepers as there is nothing to dig into baby on the front.
Sandys nappies can be tumble dried on low but preferably air dried.
Sandy's Dry features the well-known Natural Cotton nappy, finished with the famous Mother-ease Staydry layer inside. Mother-ease Staydry fabric is entirely different to any other staydry fabric on the market and it is made JUST for them! Mother-ease use a specially knit fabric that creates a stay dry barrier by the weave in the fabric. It allows the wetness to easily pass through, but not back. Keeping the babies skin dry to the touch. Another neat aspect is that they include a cooling yarn as well. This keeps the temperature inside the nappy lower - cooler for baby and reduces the growth of bacteria.

Initial Wash
Regular washing
Line Drying - hang to dry in your basement or outside on the line. (Tip - Sun naturally removes stains. Even works on a cold, winters day as long as the sun is out
Machine Drying - Toss in your dryer on medium heat (low for covers). (Tip - Tossing line dried diapers into your dryer for a short cycle will fluff them up but tumbling action adds additional wear)
*Coloured diapers may bleed and should be washed accordingly

When washing your covers Motherease recommend you wash them in a mesh bag to keep them away from Velcro on your nappies and from getting caught in washing machine doors. If you have bought Motherease's detergent through us during the time you've used the nappies please let us know and we'll have all your receipts already on record for you.
I can’t rate these highly enough, we started with some secondhand small sandys and moved onto these. The stay dry lining is amazing and makes them very soft and keeps baby totally dry. We’ve never had a leak with sandys and an airflow wrap. I just wish we’d found them for my eldest, we’ve tried quite a few different nappies over the years and these are by far the best!

I'm so delighted with these. I bought them to alternate with bamboozles but now use them solely. They last all night with no leaks when used with an airflow and I love the motherease stay dry material on the inside. Will definitely be getting the next size up when the time comes!
Amazing nappy for my 17 month old. The large fits him perfectly on the tightest waist snaps with plenty of growing room. Looks very comfortable on him with gentle elastics . I could tell with how heavy it was after it’s prewash that it was going to be very absorbent and it was! I don’t find it any bulkier than any of our AIOs as I have to boost most of those to cope with his output anyway, in fact it looked fairly slim on the bum. The stay dry is really like no other we’ve had. My LOs skin was bone dry to the touch. Paired with an airflow it’s been a perfect daytime combo. I could imagine it may be a stretch to get a tighter fitting wrap over with the leg frills. I think if we boosted well it could last a night too. Overall great fitted nappy.
Nappy purchased at discount as part of ambassador role. Views are my own.I ordered the XS for my newborn as we were struggling with leaks due to other nappies not having sufficient absorbency. I’ve loved using them so much! They fit really well, look comfortable and are absorbent. I wish I’d had more of them as they’re easy to use and not particularly bulky for a two part system. Baby is 10lbs and just about to outgrow the XS.My favourite wrap to use with these is Motherease Airflow (we’ve managed with Small). Second favourite is Petite Crown newborn.
I adored sandy’s for my last child and although I didn’t technically need any for my new baby I thought they deserved a treat for a new nappy (or 5 🙈. I absolutely adore the new stay dry Sandy, they are so so soft and do not disappoint. My chunky 7 week old is a very heavy wetter as he can out pee a disposable overnight! I’ve had no trouble with the Sandy overnight with him and team it with an airflow, the two together are bomb proof. I wish they had brought these out sooner as I much prefer them to the original. I live in a very hard water area so time will tell as to whether they go a bit crunchy like the original Sandy but so far they are my favourite nappy.

So my son has sensitive skin and suffers from ezcema, his skin doesn't like any wetness on it. His day nappies are stay dry lined or pockets but we were using bamboozles overnight and his skin was suffering where the wet nappy touched his skin. We used a fleece or stay dry liner but that doesn't cover the whole nappy area. I was on the hunt for a night nappy that was stay dry lined. Also, he isn't a heavy wetter at all overnight, 14 months old and sometimes dry in the morning, other times not heavily wet. So I was reluctant to buy a hemp or super thick absorbant night nappy. These nappies came along at just the right time for us. Being cotton and not specifically night nappies they are perfect for our overnight needs. If he does wet more I will use a Sandy's dry booster but at the moment we haven't needed a booster at all. We bought a size large as my son is 19.5 pounds, it fits great and feels so soft and comfy. The frills just about fit inside a large airflow, but I've bought some xl too incase we need them.I don't like the placement or feeling of the label on the back inside. It has rough edges and I've been tucking the label down onto the outside to get it away from his skin.Overall, exactly what we need and I'm really pleased with ours.
