Bought these to try with a newborn, using muslins as nappies, and Tots Bots Bamboozles at night. I found them really thin and lightweight, so not bulky or “crunchy” as I’d expected (new to reusables!) which meant they seemed really comfy and fitted really well. Compared to some others we’ve tried I think they are much better quality, nice and flexible, easy to use with very few leakages. Would definitely recommend even though they are a little more expensive. Beware of Velcro when washing though!

If I had to choose I prefer airflow purely because they don't catch on my bamboo nappies in the wash, but these are still great wraps, and the only thing (in XL) big enough to fit over an Ella's house size 3!

Really dislike the Velcro. Friday, 12 July 2019 | Kristian
While these do an excellent job on containment and are good quality,I find the Velcro quite harsh on my baby's stomach when sitting.

I purchased the motherease rikki wraps and also the motherease airflow wraps to see which I prefer. I actually prefer the airflow wraps. I don’t like the velcro on these as it constricts my babies movement - it’s hard for him to bend! Whereas the airflow wraps have stretchy elastic around the middle with poppers and is much more comfortable for him. Having said that though, I’ve never had a leak with either wraps

Love mother ease wraps - they never leak and are easy to take off and put on. I’ve used the XL for my 2 year old who is a chunky boy!

My baby was under 5lb when I brought him home so he didn't fit the cloth nappies we bought. TNL recommended these over muslins. No leaks after 4 weeks use. Only thing is they're huge on him and restrict movement. Down to his knees and up to his chest. Could do with an xxs or making them less long. Width ok

I bought one of these wraps and one airflow to see which I liked best. Although both are leak proof (for us anyway) these are easier to put on; however, there are no laundry tabs and the velcro sticks to EVERYTHING in the wash. Because of this I think I’d go for an airflow in future.

I recently purchased the large rikki wrap for my daughter who is long for her age and very wet at night. I found this wrap really good in being large enough to fit comfortably with added overnight absorbency. It works really well with the sandys or inserts from a two piece system with plenty of room for soakers!

Great fit over Motherease One Size nappies. So glad I managed to get hold of the old prints. I can’t get enough of Mermaid and Palm bottoms!
Only wish Rikki came in poppers as they are the only Velcro in my stash and my helpers don’t always do them up for washing.

I've used these over muslins, terries and bamboozles, and they cover all those the nappies well. They are really well waterproofed and I also love the bright colours - they look great on my little one's bum!
The only downside is the velcro - it catches on everything, including the webbing on the seams, which means that the soft edges can lose their softness quite quickly.

Very good waterproofing far far better than any other wrap I’ve tried (I have quite a few)
Look of nappy rather large though.
Easy to fit
No laundry tabs so the Velcro sticks to the webbing on the seams causing damage as you are trying to put the wrap in the toddler or sticks to the other nappies in the wash.
The pattern makes identification of possible poo stains at the seams difficult!

Bought the Rikki wrap to cover Muslinz on our skinny minnie after terrys were a bit too bulky. Excellent slim fit, keeps in all the moisture and most of the poo. Lovely designs. A few loose threads after a few washes but nothing integral

These wraps are amazing for containment. We had a couple of issues with our daughter's skinny legs when she was very tiny, but managed to stop the leg leaks with a bit of experimentation with fit. Only issue is ensuring that the velcro is done up before washing to ensure that it doesn't snag everything else.

Excellent service and great quality, highly recommend others to invest rather than using disposable nappies.

Reliable but prefer Airflow wrap for young baby Monday, 3 September 2018 | Nicola
I use these a lot during the daytime with Bumbles or Disana cotton nappies. They are very reliable and fit nicely. The only downside for me is that I found the velcro fastening a little stiff when my baby was very small, and was worried that it would be uncomfortable and irritate the skin. I now use the medium size and they seem to be comfortable enough on my now 18 month-old. I prefer the Airflow wrap for night time and small babies.

I bought the motherease rikki wrap to go over our bamboozle stretchies to use overnight on the recommendation from the nappy lady. I've not been disappointed, despite the bamboozle being soaked through come the morning there's been no leaking at all. With the bamboozle and booster and wrap my little one has quite a bulky bottom but it doesn't restrict her movement or bother her at all. Fab wrap, great recommendation from the nappy lady.

Really pleased with these. Used from a few weeks old over Terry squares and no leaks so far despite using them when she was a bit small for the size (M). They're easy to use - the hardest bit was choosing which designs to buy.

Absolutely love these wraps. They have keep our little one so comfortable even in this crazy 2 month heat wave we are having.
Containment is great too. The velcro is even Comfortable. One middle of the night hazy happy change I didn't line the velcro vastening up correctly meaning it was running on our babies skin for the rest of the night. However it left only the smallest mark which disappeared within 10 minutes of removal.
Some other wraps I find aren't very breathable and can smell, especially in heat. However these do not at all. They wash and dry very well either in a 60 degree wash or just hand washing.
I will be using these wraps above all other from now on.
We have used them alongside the little lamb microfiber fitted nappies and the bambinex bamboo fitted nappies. Both of these have excelled our expectations on ease of use. Containment and comfort. So much so I am starting to use them in the day and night now. Originally I was using pocket systems in the day, but much prefer these.

I loved this design initially but turns out it was the best wrap for nights too. I’ve used it from birth on my 6lb little girl over sandys and bimbles. It’s big but the containment is excellent and we’ve had no leaks at all!

Bought one of these to use with the Bambinex Teddys. Fits well and fairly easy to use. Very quick drying. However it does not have laundry tabs so you have to make sure the velcro is fastened and turned inside out for washing. The border/edging material keeps catching the velcro causing it to fray a little in places, so you need to be careful when using.
Overall, prefer other wraps.

Velcro rubs but good containment Friday, 29 June 2018 | Laura
Bought the small size for my newborn, and it fitted very well from day 1 (born at 7lb 10). Excellent containment of breastfed poo and fitted well over a range of newborn and size 1 nappies. However at 10.5lb they are now too small, I can barely do them up and they started rubbing her tummy much earlier.
I also have the large for my 2 year old son and don't find Velcro rubs on him, although he is only 28lb and already this wrap seems a bit small.
I personally prefer the Airflow Wrap

I prefer this wrap to the Airflow one due to velcro. It's easier to fasten, it doesn't need any effort to put on or off (helps at night) and it fits perfectly. No leaks even overnight.

Nice comfortable size and good elastic at legs. Velcro fixings can pull at outer fabric/edging I'd you're not very careful when changing/washing. Soft velcro at waist appears to rub tummy sometimes leaving a red mark for a short while, no lasting skin damage.

A brilliant wrap, as it's reputation holds. Have several of these in cute colours but I love the mermaid print! Works well with muslins and shaped nappies like Bimbles and LL.

Great wrap for going over a fitted nappy like the bamboozles or little lambs. Gives a nice fit around even skinny thighs. Only downside for us is the lack of laundry tabs means the velcro gets stuck to stuff in the wash as the nappy has to be done up instead. Not sure how this will affect its longevity but with a cool looking early design we are enjoying it for the moment!

Bought this and a Motherease Airflow to try over little lamb sized nappies. The airflow wins marginally as poppers are a tiny bit less bulky/he possibly has more movement on his tummy -and for some reason I never can decide if I have the velcro at the right tightness -but I think that's just me! Overall great! No leaks, easy clean, easy to use, would happily buy again.

Effective but annoying velcro Wednesday, 22 November 2017 | Rebekah
Very good containment even for heavy wetter. Nice slim fit and attractive designs. The velcro does sometimes rub on LO's stomach if not attached low enough and can be tight around the legs even though she is skinny (could be incorrectly fitted on my part). Perfect with Little Lambs sized Prefolds. I use during daytime

Limited growth and did rub on occasion Tuesday, 21 November 2017 | Rebecca
I used these from 4 weeks due to C section delivery, and they don't look as though they will have much growth. They also can rub babies skin, making it red if you aren't slower and careful with how you do them up at the top. Good containment/waterproof

Good cover in terms of containment (never failed) but I found the Velcro was too close to the edge of the nappy and too thick so it often rubbed on my baby’s tummy. The thick Velcro makes them a little too rigid which I think could be uncomfortable.

Use over LLs bamboo nappies for night time. Never had a leak as long as it covers the entire nappy. Must remember to velcro it closed before wash as it tends to stick to everything. Have a large baby so will be needing size large sooner than anticipated, but still great.

These are easy to use and are now starting to fit baby well (they were too big on him at 10lb). Because the Velcro is very close to the edge of the wrap, if you're not careful baby can get scratched by overhanging Velcro. I've not had that problem with out wraps. It's avoidable—just have to be more careful when putting them on.

So far excellent and no leaks or wicking around seams. Only gave 4 stars as prefer the poppers airflow to Velcro Riki for fit. Also we had a rare poo up back incident with this but put it down to wriggles and fitter incompetence!

We are using this as a disposable nappy cover as we were finding that they were leaking overnight around the waistband. We have been using this for a few weeks and we have not had one nappy leak. The leg holes are very tight which is why we have given 4 stars. But does exactly what I need it to do.

Nice product but small sizing not practical Friday, 11 August 2017 | Diana
Good product, performed exactly as described but wish I had not bought small size as very quickly outgrown. Bulky muslin folded nappy underneath meant that fit was very snug and I was unable to use terry nappy as too bulky.

The cover is good and I haven't got leaks so far, but the velcro has given me problems. It opens during the washing and entangles with other stuff. Also, when it is in use, the bit of velcro that gets exposed is quite harsh on baby skin, so sometimes I find irritation around that area.

Happy I trusted The Nappy Lady! Monday, 22 May 2017 | Yasmine
These were recommended by the nappy lady. I was a bit reluctant as they were more expensive than what I was originally going to opt for and the designs aren't great but so pleased I followed the recommendation and reviews. They fit really well, we have been using since about 2 weeks and baby is now 4 months, never had a leak. The velcro fastening is good but can get caught in the washes so we always do the nappies up before putting in the machine.

Good, but a couple concerns Thursday, 18 May 2017 | Marie
The velcro on these feels so cheap/weak! It won't be long before my inquisitive little girl will be able to easily pull it off. It is great for containment but overall I found nothing remarkable about these. They also don't have laundry tabs which is unfortunate but not the end of the world. The fit is better than some others we've tried for my tall, chunky four month old but I still prefer TotsBots for velcro wraps and Blueberry for poppers.

Really good but airflow are better Wednesday, 3 May 2017 | Hannah
The colours and material are really gorgeous and they are extremely effective when used with muslins, terry towels and motherease nappies however I found that the airflow (poppers instead of Velcro) are better at making sure none of the nappy sticks out, which is particularly important when using muslins and terrys. Make sure you fasten the Velcro before you wash it or you'll get it stuck to other stuff in the machine and the Velcro is so strong it will damage and pull anything else that it might stick to, including the edges of the wrap itself. Kind of annoying that the edges of the wrap become stuck to the Velcro but small complaint. I think these are great when the baby is really tiny because even the xs airflow were too big for my little girl when she was a month old whereas the Velcro fastening let's you get it on a tiny baby but once they're not newborn I wouldn't use anything other than the airflow, better fit and better containment than the rikki and you don't need to remember to fasten before you wash!

The wrap is excellent in terms of its quality and containment. It fits my baby beautifully and she looks comfy. Just wish that the wrap had laundry tabs. The velcros are sewn very close to the white mesh trim and the hooks catch the trim easily when I change the baby. Sometimes the hooks catch the nappy when baby wriggles.

Covers the bamboozle nappy that I use along with an additional booster. Better protection than the peanut wrap and easy to fit. Tabs are too wide though which impacts on the fit and have to be fastened for washing as no laundry tabs

Good wrap, annoying Velcro! Saturday, 25 February 2017 | Lucy
I can't fault these wraps in terms of their containment - they are excellent. However the Velcro is rather irritating! The rough side faces inwards and when baby is getting towards the larger end of the size range, it's difficult to ensure that no rough bits are rubbing against baby's delicate skin. This isn't helped by the fact that the trim tends to get stuck in the Velcro too causing it to curl inwards.
However, they do work well at containing leaks. They dry super fast which means you don't need loads of them.

Eight years ago i bought some of these from the nappy lady for my oldest boy and i found them brilliant. Three children later i needed to get some new ones as the old wraps are looking a bit worse for wear. I have also in that time used the motherease airflow but found they were too tight around my lb thighs who is quite chunky. All in all I love these, I use them with my bumbles btp nappies and I rarely have leaks, I think someone else on here described them as 'bombproof' which I have found to be true. Wouldn't ever buy any other wraps to go with my nappies. They dry quickly, wash well and the velcro stays strong enough to get a good fit wash after wash. Brilliant from Motherease.

Velcro rikki wrap- great product Wednesday, 12 October 2016 | Amber
Exactly as described. Perfect over my prefolds and onelife nappies. Quick air drying which means I don't need so many as compared to other Wraps I own or have tried in the past. Velcro makes for quick and easy removal but the only minor down side is having to remember to do the Velcro up before washing so it dosnt get stuck to everything else in the load.
Overall excellent product and good value for money.
