Our Top Hat Potty Covers are ideal for use with all our Top Hat Pottys  Top Hat Potty Covers are made of skin friendly fabrics. They are designed so that baby’s skin does not come into contact with the cold surface of the potty, which makes it more comfortable to keep the baby.

The wool cpver is made of high-quality organic wool. Wool is naturally water repellent and feels drier and warmer than cotton even when wet.

NOT MACHINE WASHABLE! You need to wipe the cover and air it out after use. It should only be washed if it is stained or gets smelly. In order to retain the water repellent properties, we recommend that you lanolise the wool after washing. You can find more details on how to lanolise in our lanolising wool article

Finally I can sit my baby on the top hat potty rather than hold him over it, because he hates the coldness of the plastic without the cover on it.

These are great and make the potty nice and soft and warm on baby’s bum and fit over the potty perfectly

Not sure they are really necessary

Pros:
They do what they say and they fit the top hat potty. You can wash them with the nappy load.
Cons:
They reduce the area where the baby can pee and I think they might cause more leaks.
Ive settled for half on the rim of the potty and half down the side.
Not sure we really need them. The baby has a pee and goes back to sleep fine without using them too.

Perfect with EC top hat potty

I’m new to EC but bought these to go with the top hat potty also sold by The Nappy Lady. Although they seemed expensive, I’m so glad I purchased them. They fit perfectly, wash well as they’re well made, and make a warm seat for my LO. Invaluable if you have a boy as they’ve contained an errant wee for me on multiple occasions and I’ve only been doing it 4 weeks!
