Fleece Liners are 100% polyester fleece (similar to fine clothing fleece, not sheep fleece!), providing an effective stay dry layer as well as a poo catcher. Wash at 60 with the nappies. Please note that fleece does need to be prewashed a couple of times, otherwise liquid runs off it rather than through it.

Bambinex fleece liners come in packs of 20 but we also split packs into 10s or singly. Bambinex fleece liners are wonderful thick quality fleece.

Let me tell you a bit about the event which converted me to fleece liners, having always been pretty sceptical when others raved about them:
I flew to Orkney with my first son, and he did not do his usual morning poo before we left (normally as regular as clockwork), so we had it hanging over us like the Sword of Damocles all morning.  At Gatwick, I changed him again, in case he had sneakily done it en route - no poo.  By the time we got to Aberdeen, he finally decided to perform, at which point I realised I had used my only spare nappy and the rest were on the plane.  The nappy itself had plenty more capacity for wee - the only problem was the dirty liner.  However, luckily I had put on a fleece liner rather than a flushable one. I say 'luckily' because fleece has the following huge advantages:

Being quite large, it covers the whole nappy area, and so poo is far less likely to even hit the nappy in the first place (with paper liners, they can tend to move out of the firing line once baby is old enough to wriggle).

Being quite thick, no staining goes through to the nappy once your baby is weaned.  This means that if your child poos in a fresh nappy, you can just replace the fleece. You couldn’t really do this with a flushable liner.  Also, this protects the nappy somewhat from the curry stains a pre-weaning breastfed baby is so fond of producing.

Being 100% polyester, the liner is completely non-absorbent, and so provides an effective stay-dry layer. Not essential by any means, but parents seem to like it, and it is certainly nice to keep a very wet night nappy at bay.  It also cleans easily and dries immediately, so on our trip to Orkney I was able to drop the poo into the loo, hand wash the fleece and wring it dry then blast it under the hand drier for a few seconds before putting it back on the nappy for reuse.  Twice, thanks to a repeat performance by Bob!

Once you have bought them, there are no ongoing liner costs or the hassle of making sure you don’t run out.  Poo drops off a fleece liner very easily into the toilet for the most part.  Even relatively squidgy ones will usually drop off if you turn the liner over into an upside down rainbow shape and wiggle your hands a bit.  If the worst comes to the worst, “picking” at one end of the poo with a piece of toilet paper is usually enough to start it peeling itself off (how much detail do you really want on “poo management”?!).  Actually, the easiest thing to do is just to drop the fleece into the loo and leave it for a few minutes.  When you lift it out, most of the poo will have come off anyway - the only risk is, you might forget it’s there and flush it away.

Game changer

These, along with the new Wizard Duo stay dry 'system' have game changed my experience of using reuseable nappies. These liners are AWESOME. They wick away the wet holding it in the core of the nappy and leaving my nappy perfectly dry. Poo flicks off nicely too. Wash like a dream, great size and dry in lightening speed. Buy them, you will not regret it!

Almost perfect
Thursday, 22 February 2018  |

I bought these because my baby hates feeling wet. They do a good job of wicking the wetness away from his skin. Please understand these are not absorbent and the pee will only soak through to an absorbent nappy under the fleece with compression. If the nappy isnít tight enough, the pee will just sit on top of the fleece. I would have given 5 stars but I donít like the length of these liners. They are not long enough to cover an entire padfolded nappy for my 6 month old.

I only ordered one of these to try and I must say I have not used it all that much. I found it was a bit big for my little one at the moment so perhaps when I move her up a size it will get more use. It does help wick some of the wee away from the bum tho and prevent that forever threatening nappy rash from tearing up!

Excellent stay dry liner
Friday, 24 November 2017  |

Good thick quality liner. It's quite wide for my MCNs which were bought in Australia (Bubblebubs Candies, can't recommend them highly enough, wish you could get them in this country) but still works, just needs tucking in. DH cannot believe how the liner and baby's bum feel dry when the nappy underneath is sopping wet!

Keep bums dry

Excellent liners. Soft and fast wicking. Pull dampness away from baby's bottom to keep them comfortable. Need a couple of washes before they're at their best. Stains come out easily if you use bio washing liquid/powder when heavily soiled.

Simple, perfect liner comfort
Friday, 8 September 2017  |

These liners are so soft and dry away urine that if it wasn't for the Nappy being wet and heavy underneath them we wouldn't know when our boy needed changing. Number 2's almost fall off above the toilet and the small amount that remains can be easily rinsed off. Our baby has never had Nappy rash again after buying these.

Used on 4 week old. Did not feel it kept skin dry and absorbed all the poo so difficult to sluice without ending up handwashing. Ended up using with disposable liner which caught bfed poo better. Have resorted to use as wipes to dry bottom after cleaning.

Response:

Breastfed poo will soak into the liner but your machine will deal with it. Really good for cost saving

Great purchase
Thursday, 6 July 2017  |

They are great, and keep wetness away from baby skin.
I have a newborn and am breastfeeding but when I wash there are stains on them. Only way to get rid of stains is the sun (hence 4*).
They are quick to dry.
I purchased 20 and wish I bought another 10 so I can have 30 total - Wish I bought more. Having a newborn 20 liners isn't enough, but I guess when baby is older 20 will be fine.
I use them with muslin and wrap.

These liners are super soft and good quality. I struggle to get newborn poo off of them (hence not 5 stars), despite trying the "sluicing" method. Thinking it's my baby's unique poo and that this will be easier once I start weaning!

Soft and thick
Monday, 5 September 2016  |

These liners are lovely and soft - they feel like good quality, thick fleece. I think they must feel so comfy on my little ones bottom! They're also very big, so they cover the nappy well and stay in place.
However, they do add a lot of bulk. My baby is only 4 months old so our BTP nappies are already pretty chunky on her, and with these liners on top sometimes it's ridiculous! Having said that, I'm new to cloth and this is my first experience with fleece so I don't know if this is specific to bambinex of the same for all fleece liners.

Wednesday, 20 July 2016  |

Great value liners and do the job. Wash really well and stop the poo going on the actual nappy. Fit really nicely inside bumgenius freetimes and elementals and also stretchies. Stay put much better than disposable liners. Only tip, wash them a couple of times by themselves, I'm still picking fluff off my nappies!

Useful basics
Wednesday, 15 June 2016  |

These are as described, very long on a newborn so I had to fold over one end a little to fit them in her tiny nappy, but the coverage is obviously great later on. The only leakage I have found is round the edge, on to the edge of the nappy itself as these are narrower than the nappy. With wet, breastfed poo I have to rinse and rub the liner together to get the poo off in the sink rather than being able to 'pinch' it off into the loo but when this is done, and the liner wet-pailed, stains have come out 9 times out of 10 with no pre-washing. Just throw them in the wash with the nappies at 40 degrees.

These fleece liners are great at moving the moisture away from the skin. I have also stopped using paper liners in most nappies as these liners catch most of the poo and wash really well. They also dry really quickly. I'm about to buy another pack as 10 doesn't quite last me between washes.

Fantastic liner
Monday, 5 October 2015  |

I'm new to cloth nappies so thought maybe I was being a bit ambitious trying to use fleece liners straight away but actually I much prefer them to the flushable liners that came with the nappies I ordered. If the nappy is just wet a fleece liner is really easy - it goes straight in the nappy bucket with the nappy. If its dirty I soak the liner in a small bucket of water for a few minutes until the poo loosens and can be washed off easily (if we're out then I just stick everything in a bag and wait til we're home to do that, as this liner is so thick not much seeps through to the nappy itself in that time). I love the soft, stay-dry feel of the liner, I imagine its more comfortable against my boy's bum than the paper kind.
