Mother-ease Cover Revitaliser can restore your nappy covers performance. The revitaliser is a two part eco friendly waterproofing treatment which will work on all nappy covers that are entirely separate from an absorbent nappy. It will also work on revitalising wet nappy bags too!
When to use it
If you've begun to experience leak issues with your nappies and you cannot see an obvious issue (fit. damage, etc) then it's likely that the factory waterproofing treatment has worn off your nappy covers. Mother-ease Cover Revitaliser is a laundry treatment that re-applies the waterproofing to your nappy covers restoring them to their initial performance at a fraction of the price of buying new covers. This is a one time process treatment.
How it works
Part A - Pre Treat: This eco friendly stripper pre treatment removes dirt and oil with no trace of residue, allowing for optimal revitalising.
Part B - Revitalise: This eco friendly treatment revitalises your nappy covers to make them work like new again.
Instructions
Wash up to 15 nappy covers first with Part A and then afterward wash that load of covers again with Part B. Afterward, dry your covers in your tumble drier on HIGH heat.
FAQ's
Will it work on any brand of nappy cover?Yes! As long as it's not attached to an absorbent nappy part
Will this work on an AIO or Pocket nappy? No. The revitaliser will cause repellency issues on the absorbent fabric of the cloth nappy so it MUST NEVER be used on any nappy other than a plain cover.
Can I line dry the covers after the revitaliser wash?
No. They will need to be machine dried using high heat for the first initial dry after your revitaliser wash.
Will this repair the cracks in my PUL cover?
No. This revitaliser will not repair cracks in your PUL. However it could help resolve any leak issues you are experiencing as a result of a crack in the PUL. The Cover Revitaliser coats the substrate fabric (the fabric that is print and laminated) with the waterproofing, keeping the wetness from transferring through.
How long does it last until wraps need revitalising?
This is a difficult question as it depends on a few variable usage factors such as the number of covers you have, if you are reusing the same cover 3-4 times per day, how often they are washing or rinsing, what drying method is used, if baby is mobile. From our testing, we have seen up to 6 months when only using 4 wraps. If you have 5+ wraps in use, you will see more longevity.
How many wraps does a bottle last for?
Both 4oz bottles are fully used in the one time process. You can revitalise up to 15 wraps and a wetbag using the two bottles.
Can I use half the bottles (2oz) for half the number of wraps ie 7 wraps?
No. You have to use both full 4oz bottles as there would be too much water in your washing machine and not enough revitaliser. The revitaliser would be too diluted to be effective.
