Wrap Overview

The Rumparooz One size cover is very popular and reasonably priced. It is often overlooked but those who are experienced in reusable nappies know what a secretly fabulous wrap this is!

The covers can be used multiple times before washing, this is normally 4-5 nappies before a cover change but they should be washed sooner if they become soiled.

Kanga Care uses a water resistant polyester TPU which is a solvent-free polyester fabric that has been laminated with a thermoplastic polyurethane using a heat bonding process, not chemicals. This process is low in toxicity and is better for the natural environment then traditional PUL.

Sizing

The wrap fits a weight range of 6-35lbs.

The Rumparooz One Size nappy cover is designed to grow with your baby, with 4 adjustable rise settings;

  • newborn,
  • small,
  • medium
  • large

I'd warn that covering such a large weight range will mean there is some compromise on fit and this will mainly be at the lower end of the weight range meaning it will be bulky and a little loose on a newborn.  We'd recommend you use these covers from 10/12lbs range instead.

Fastening

The wrap fastens at the waist using poppers in my favourite vertical popper position. The vertical position holds the tabs firmly in place and minimises wing droop.

To use with

Rumparooz One Size Covers are generously sized and designed to fit over most shaped or prefold flat nappies including Bambino Mio prefolds, flips and Econobum.

Care & Warranty

Kangacare Care Guide

  • Prewash nappy twice before first use. Nappy will reach full absorbency after approximately 6 washes.
  • Do not soak soiled nappies before washing. Dry Pail only.
  • Rinse before your main wash
  • Max wash temperature 40 degrees
  • Use powder not liquid detergent
  • No harsh stain removers or bleach
  • No fabric softeners. They will reduce absorbency
  • Line dry or tumble dry on cool. Avoid line drying in direct sunshine during UK hottest months as the heat of the sun can damage or fade nappies.
  • Avoid nappy creams or use a disposable liner if you have to use them.

Kangacare Warranty

Kangacare warranty is only for the original purchasers of the products. The warranty starts from date of purchase not first use.

Snaps:
Kangacare offer a lifetime warranty on all snaps.

Elastics:
Kangacare have a 3 month warranty on all elastics. Elastics that have become un-attached in the casing, stitching undone, or have a defect due to a manufacturing error are covered under the warranty. Elastic that has been dissolved or become corroded due to detergents or cleaning agents, or have given out due to time, wear and tear are not covered under the warranty. To get the longest life out of your nappies and their elastics please chose a detergent from their recommended list.

Sewing:
Kangacare have a 6 month warranty on all stitching and seams. Manufacturer sewing defects will arise immediately or within the first couple of washes. In nappies, this warranty includes stitching that will affect the functionality. This includes stitching that encases elastics in the legs and back. This warranty does not cover top stitching that has been "popped", which is aesthetic, and does not affect the function of the nappy. This is usually caused by the over-stretching of the tabs. Holes or snags that occur in any of the fabrics due to wear and tear of the product are not covered under Kangacare's warranty.

General Warranty Information:
Defects may either be repaired or replaced at the discretion of Kanga Care. All nappies must arrive clean, unstained, lint free, and dry.  All nappies with excessive wear will not be replaced or repaired under their warranty. One Size nappies are designed to last through the nappy life cycle of 1 child. A one size nappy is 4 sizes in one diaper and is used continuously for 3+ years, unlike sized nappies which are only used for an average of 4-6 months per size. When well cared for, many families are able to use the same one size diapers on a second child. At this time they would recommend purchasing a new set of inserts to refresh the absorbency back to its max. One size nappies lasting through multiple children is not a guarantee or promise. Kangacare can not guarantee how long they will last. Just like any other garment, during the process of using, washing, and drying the nappy, wearing will occur. The life expectancy of our products depends on the degree of care taken, the quantity of nappies in your rotation and type of abuse the nappy is given. The average cloth nappy replaced 375 disposable diapers.

What is not covered under their warranty:

  • Leaks
  • Sizing/Fit Issues
  • Lack of absorbency/repelling
  • Staining
  • Damage
  • Wear and Tear

What will void your warranty:

  • Washing instructions are not followed, including, but not limited to:
  • Use of Sanitising cycle while washing or water temperature above 130ºF/54°C
  • Use of and or soaking in bleach, Borax based cleaners, Oxy Clean, or any other caustic substances that may damage the materials and compromise the integrity of the elastics and waterproof nature of the waterproof laminate.
Kangacare's decision on any warranty claim is final.

Crap leaks like a sieve at the back
Rating:
10 January 2023  |

I was so excited initially, looked great, appeared to fit great and had the potential to grow with baby but on four occasions now it has leaked inexplicably from the back of the waist band, I am starting to suspect there are tiny holes somewhere at the back of the fabric as my experience seems so different to the other reviews. I have a larger baby ( born 9 pounds 10 at birth and 7 weeks on has continued to put weight on steadily, already in 3 month clothing) so there are no gaps anywhere when wrap used at smallest setting. Despite this I find myself up at 5 am with pee up the back of his clothing yet again when I suspect he would have slept through if not wet. He is a reasonably heavy wetter but the nappy that came off wasn't saturated and I don't have this issue with his other wrap which sadly form me appears to be a discontinued style of airflow wrap.

It’s very good nappy cover, just it’s little bit tight. Apart of that it’s working very good for us.

Favourite wrap!

25 May 2021  |

I love this wrap, I have several different types and this is my favourite - it has the double gusset as well as elastic at front and back so it’s nice and snug. The sides wrap round well so you don’t have any nappy showing (I’ve found that some have really poor coverage round the legs). Does a great job of catching runny poo that explodes out of the main nappy too!

The best wraps!

The rumparooz wraps are truly one of the most underrated ones out there. They are amazing! The pul is super silky and soft - more so than many other brands I use. The double gusset elastics are strong yet very soft and gentle on the skin and the tummy elastic keeps everything wheee it should! These wraps have contained many an explosive poo! The prints are also beautiful! It’s got a nice size range too. Basically, it’s got everything you could possibly want it a wrap with fantastic quality. Would highly recommend giving these wraps a try!

Great fit
Rating:
20 December 2020  |

I tend to use this wrap over my bamboozles at night, but have also found they work well over a terry (a slightly more snug fit, but found it keeps everything in place a lot better than an airflow for example, on my active 1 year old). The elasticated waist at front and back is great for keeping the wetness inside the nappy rather than leaking onto the tummy of nightclothes.
They are great quality, however not sure how much longer they will fit as already have all rise poppers undone.

Day or night, no leaks

I've started using this as my back-up night cover. It is is massive on my 2 month old and I was dubious even with the poppers on the lowest setting but it really coped well on a 4hr stint.
The designs are great and I like that it is poppers and not velcro.

Gorgeous print, great containment thanks to the double gussets. Feels quite bulky on the smaller rises though - am looking forward to my baby growing into it a bit more.

Excellent wraps

We use these over folded terries on my very tall 20 month old during the day, and they are superb - never any leaks thanks to the double gusset, and they give a lovely compact slim fitting nappy. I vastly prefer this to pockets, and he is definitely comfier. The poppers are excellent and sturdy. Even on the second to last rise we can still easily fit in a booster. I also love that it is made of low environmental impact TPU. I would definitely recommend these.

Not good sizing

I regret buying this wrap, it is kind of small on my 4 months old daughter bum. Maybe it’s for slimmer babies. I much more like the Little lamb wrap, size 1 for now.

Perfect wraps!

16 February 2020  |

I had been looking for the perfect wraps to go over my one size shaped nappies and these have worked out amazingly. With the front elastic as well as the back it offers a tighter fit so it fits the slimmer waist as well as the chunkier. I love the fact it has four rises which really make me feel like itll last a lot longer. My daughter is about 9 months and about 8kg at the moment and were on the second rise over the shaped nappy I believe (I'll edit this if i'm wrong), overall a wonderful wrap!

Coming back for more!

These are possibly my favourite wraps! The double gusset on the leg is really effective and the elastic at the back keeps everything nicely contained too. They’re trim and light and hang dry so quickly so are soon back on the top of the pile!
I’ve only been using them for a few months on my toddler, having used quite a variety of nappies so far on my two boys, however a lot of my original wraps are wearing thin and I’m pleased I can add a few more of these mix. Their fit is nice and snug without being tight, on my tall 14kg 2yo in prefolds, and I’m confident they’ll adapt nicely to their new role when number three is born in spring. We’re on the widest waist setting so maybe not ideal for a really chunky toddler but they’re so reliable I’d still recommend giving one a chance!

I love these covers

I had the newborn version of these for my very teeny baby and I loved them, so I bought these when he outgrew them. I still love them! I struggle to find things that fit him nicely as he’s short and slim and these are perfect for his smaller frame. I love the double gusset and the prints are adorable. Absolute favourites!

Rumaprooz

I'm sure this will be better once baby is a bit older but for me 2 month old it's a bit bulky in a way that I feels affects alignment when baby is laid down. Feet didn't rest easy so I think would give it another go in a few months. Otherwise, felt strong and i'm still positive.

Excellent wrap
Rating:
29 July 2017  |

This is the first wrap I found that is both soft and flexible AND exceptionally snug and secure. Before this we used a combo of sized Bummis and Motherease. Both are excellent wraps but were either too stiff or too light, and also come in short-term sizes. With the rumparooz we have perfect fit and tightness without restricting baby's movement. It's light enough to accommodate a soaking fitted nappy underneath, yet firm enough to hold a lighter prefold.
