Nappy Overview

Little Lovebum Newbie is an ultra-soft bamboo velour nappy for the early days up to 12lbs. The Little Lovebum Newbie is an all in one nappy that needs no prepping, folding or stuffing so ideal for a busy and tired new parent.

Sizing

fits 5lbs - 12lbs

The nappy is size adjustable and has the option for crossover poppers on the tabs and poppers to adjust the length for the extra tiny babies. Some full term/average size babies may never need the smallest setting which is perfectly normal but if you do need it, it's there.

How do I use it?

The nappy fastens with a double row of poppers to keep it snug and secure on baby. The leg gussets are soft for the extra sensitive skin of a newborn.

Remember as with any all in one there is only one layer of containment which is the elastic in the nappy edge so this nappy will not give you the "bomb proof" containment a two part system would (nappy and separate wrap) but all in one do offer you ease of quick fitting.

Nappy Fabric

The Newbie nappy is made with an absorbent bamboo core which helps keep the nappy slim however please remember bamboo is a slow drying fabric. The outer cover is made from TPU which is waterproof so no separate cover is needed.

Little Lovebum Care Guide

Prewash Items. Note - nappies made from hemp or bamboo require 6 washes before they reach full absorency.
Remove solids. Heavily soiled nappies may need a rinse before storing in dry pail/waterproof bag. Store for a maximum of 3 days.
prewash nappies on a rinse cycle or with half a dose of detergent.
wash at 40-60 degrees using recommended dose of detergent according to instruction.
Line dry, being sure to keep the PUL out of direct sunlight.

Little Lovebum Warranty

Little Lovebum offers a 6 month guarantee against manufacturing faults. The 6 month guarantee starts from when the item was purchased, not first used. If you believe you have an item with a manufacturing fault, you will need to contact us with details and photos of the fault. We will confirm your purchase date from our records. Little Lovebum may require the items to be inspected before a warranty decision is made, we will inform you if this is required in your case. Little Lovebum warranty decision is final.

Little Lovebum Warranty is VOID when:

Using harsh stain removers, biological detergents or bleaching
Boil washing
Continually tumble drying on a warm or hot heat, or directly on radiators or similar
Adding vinegar or sodium bicarbonate to the wash

Slight relaxing of elastics, variances in snaps, snags, fading in fabric, are not considered a manufacturing defect.

Little Lovebum decision on any warranty claim is final.

Please Note: The tabs are not colour-fast and will need to be washed separately for the first few washes to remove any loose dyes.

Lovely prints.

Absolutely love these prints; found myself going and re-buying the BTP nappies in the same prints we had in the newbies.
These fit our slim 6lb 8 newborn perfectly, infact she wore one home from hospital as our first cloth experience.
Unfortunately she was out weeing them by 4 weeks so we ended up boosting them with another slim booster.
It reached the point at 10 weeks (10lb ish) we couldn't boost anymore and she was still out weeing.
However, they are such a lovely trim nappy so would try them again with another baby as this one is a super wee-er!

These nappies are so easy to put on baby and so far no leaks, very absorbent. They aren't too big on the bum and have great prints. Would definitely recommended.
