Nappy Overview
Petite Crown Packa is a One Size pocket nappy. The Packa is made with natural materials and is a slim fitting one size nappy.
Version 1
The inside of the pocket nappy is lined with a luxuriously soft suede-cloth fabric that wicks away the moisture from babies bottom.
Version 2
Petite Crown are slowly releasing a new Packa version in some limited prints. The Packa one size is lined with athletic wicking jersey which is a skin friendly material which keeps babies skin dry.
Both Versions
The Packa nappy is officially a "pocket" nappy meaning you place the insert into the pocket or pouch. If you would prefer to have natural materials next to baby's skin the nappy is designed so the insert can be laid directly on top of stay dry lining. If you lay the insert on top please remember this means that there is NO staydry layer and your baby will feel wet, this can in turn help speed up potty training awareness so you might choose this option as potty training age approaches.
The tummy panel or as we call it the "stopper", panel at the front of the nappy helps to prevent leaks by keeping inside fabric where you want it... INSIDE!
Sizing
The Packa is designed to fit babies from 8-35lbs (3.5-15kgs).
The length of the nappy is altered using adjustable rise snaps. It has 3x4 adjustable rise poppers to alter the length to three different sizes as baby grows.
As with all ‘birth to potty’ or ‘one size’ nappies, there is a compromise on fit at the lower end of the weight range so the nappy will be quite bulky initially on a small newborn.
How do I use it?
The Packa fastens with poppers in our favourite horizontal popper position giving you a secure fit and reduced the chance of wing droop.
This nappy can be tumble dried on low but please note this will add additional wear and tear and may decrease the lifespan of your nappies.
Nappy Fabric
Version 1
The insert is made of 5 layers of a hemp/cotton fabric giving you a natural and absorbent nappy. The fabric blend is 55% Hemp, 45% Cotton. The insert is wonderfully absorbent however it is VERY slow drying as it holds onto that washing water firmly. It can be tumble dried on low.
Version 2
The Packa 2.0 comes with two slim trifold bamboo inserts, each made of 2 layers of bamboo terry.
