Catcher Nappy Wrap Overview

The Petite Crown Catcher wrap is a highly versatile, great quality nappy cover. Due to it's slightly wider and larger cut it provides a great fit and can be worn over almost all reusable nappies. This includes Terry Squares and fitted nappies such as the Bumble.

The wrap offers a double leg gusset for extra leak protection to protect against those potential blow outs. Double leg gussets also help to give a snugger fit for babies at the lower end of the weight range.

Unlike many wraps there is also encased elastic at the front and back panels of the wrap.

Sizing

Petite Crown Catcher wrap  fit babies "almost" birth to potty from 10lbs to 40lbs which is a slightly larger weight range than most birth to potty wraps.

It is a generous one size nappy cover.

Wrap Fastening

The wraps are popper fastening at the waist and in my favourite double row, vertical popper position which helps prevent wing droop.

The Catcher cover has adjustable rise snaps  to adjust the length of the wrap. There are 4 length settings on the wrap.

 

Which nappies to use with...

The Catcher wrap is baby's roomiest wrap option in the Petite Crown range.  They are designed to fit over bulkier or boosted night time fitted nappies.  

The Catcher wrap does not have a "flap" inside to make it easier to clean however this can be an issue if you use pad folded prefolds as they could potentially slip.  The nappy has a high rise front to help give you complete nappy coverage.

 

How to use the Catcher wrap

The Catcher cover can be washed up to 60 deg. It dries super fast as there isn't any absorbency to the cover. The Catcher wrap should be line dried or if you are really stuck tumble dried on low but we try to avoid tumble drying where possible.

Wraps should be changed straight away if they get soiled. Otherwise change the wrap at nappy changes approximately 2-3 times a day which is approx every 8-12 hours depending on baby's age. The nappy underneath the Catcher cover will be changed far more frequently as it is the nappy that does the absorbing and poo containment.

The inside of the Catcher Wrap is designed to be wipe clean so if it does get damp just use a clean dry muslin to wipe it ready for reuse.

Petite Crown Care Guide

Knock solids into toilet. Prewash warm (30-40 C). Wash hot (55 C). Do not use bleach or softeners. Do not soak. Tumble dry low (not exceeding 55 C) or line dry.  Following the proper care instructions helps avoid the delamination of the waterproof lining and damaging the elastics.

Petite Crown products are covered by a 1-year warranty; this is valid to the original purchaser from date of purchase.

Please note that the warranty replacement nappies may not be in the same print or colour as the original purchase, depending on what is currently in stock.

Petite Crown Warranty Covers:

  • Snaps
  • Sewing and workmanship defects that affect functionality
  • Zips
  • Delamination of TPU fabric

The Warranty does NOT Cover:

  • Normal wear and tear such as:
    • Pilling
    • Staining
    • Fading
    • Balding and holes in natural fibres
    • Relaxed elastics
  • Leaks
  • Other issues caused by not following the care instructions
    • example: drying the TPU laminated fabrics in medium or high heat, routine use of bleach or fabric softener, etc.


Petite Crown's decision on any warranty claim is final.

Great alternative to airflows

Good, although I found these a bit more bulky than the Motherease Airflows. Compromise on fitting to have a wrap that lasts longer and can be adjusted as your baby grows...

I have just started my journey with cloth nappies and I am really happy with this wrap. I am using it with stretch nappies and so far we haven't had any leak. It's easy to fit, has a nice design and dries quickly.

Purchased this after taking advice from the nappy lady as we has issues with fit before on other products. This is adaptable with the 2 rows of poppers that means you can adjust the fit for both waist and legs. We have had a poop leak in this which was successfully caught by the wrap and did not spill over thankfully. We are using this for our 14 months old, and there is room to grow so will use until potty training. I doubt this would fit on a very small baby from birth.

There’s so much room in this wrap for a nice chunky nighttime nappy. Fits nice and snug around the legs and plenty of adjustment possible with the poppers (we have a very long 5month old and still have the rise shortened for now). Never had any leak issues when used with the bumble or bambeasy (plus extra booster to last 12hours). Second favourite wrap after the rumparooz onesize (which is neater but don’t have quite as much space for nighttime).

Love the double gusset and some of the designs, good quality poppers and plenty of rise options.
I fit it a bit short on my baby but I find this with most wraps. Not sure it will last all the way to potty training but works well now. Not quite as deep in the sides as other fitted wraps I've tried.

I love how’s these fit snug over the nappy. It allows for less mistakes and potential leaks. Not as many designs as other brands but the fit and quality outweigh that. As a new starter with a big baby these really cut the mustard and made my life a lot easier.

Excellent wrap for terries

This is lovely and roomy for terries. Lots of adjustable poppers so don’t have to keep sizing up like air flows. I have found the binding on airflows sometimes irritate my baby’s skin (possibly because we live in a hard water area which doesn’t help!) whereas the edging on the catcher is much softer. Great that it has a double gusset too. It feels thick and seems to be well-made so hopefully really durable. It doesn’t have an elasticated front waist, but it is still my favourite wrap for terries.

We bought these to go over Bamboozles at night time, as Capris just weren't big enough and pull-up wraps involved too much wrestling with a 15-month-old! The generous cut is perfect for bulky night nappies and the elastic front and back keeps everything snug. We use one extra booster at the moment and there's plenty of room for more.

These have multiple options for adjusting which means they’re likely to fit until potty training. Some lovely colours and patterns are which is a bonus. We have a heavy wetting three month old and have used practically full time for four weeks and had zero leaks or issues. Highly recommend.

This is the first wrap I bought for the print tbh. I wish I hadn't. It's really a lovely quality wrap with the double gusset too but I just find the material too bulky when fastened on the shortest rise it digs into the front of my girls thighs. I'm used to lovely light airflows and I just don't get on with such a lot of poppers. We do also use Thirsties wraps which I find much easier to use and they have the elastic at the front as well as the back which is a better fit. The nebula print is beautiful though!

Fits my 15 month old with a little growing room. He is quite tall so has grown out of some other birth to potty wraps. No leaks from this wrap in time we have had it.

I'm really impressed with this wrap. I am using it with bambinex and totbots nappies and it covers both really well, we have had no issues with leaks at all and looks great. Feels very good quality and I I would purchase again.

Doesn’t cover all nappies

This a beautiful cover and a good thick material. I like the popper fastenings. Though this doesn’t cover my motherease nappies. With the fastenings at the front, it has a triangle shape, which means a bit of nappy is always exposed. I will keep buying the covers that has side fastenings as they cover all of the nappy.

I bought this wrap a few weeks ago and love it. We use a 2 part system all the time with little lamb and bamboozle shaped nappies. My boy is quite big for his age but not overly chunky and it fits him perfectly. The wrap is a bit thicker than the likes of a peenut wrap or Motherease airflow but it's still very flexible. There's also plenty of room for more boosters for night time too.
