I purchased this to go over the splash about inner. I also use it over disposable swim nappies. It is a snug fit and I’m glad I read the reviews and ordered the larger size for my 5 month old. He’s tall, has chunky thighs but a slim waist and there are no gaps with the nappy. We’ve had no leaks, which makes it a success.

I purchased this item because it was quite cheap, but I do not know if it will work quite well. My daughter used it for the first time a few days ago to go to the swimming pool, and this swim nappy was very hard to put on her (almost as hard as a sailing suit). The faeces (?) will mostly stay in it, but I am not sure about the urine : there is not any absorbing "fabric" in it.

swim nappies don't hold urine in as the cholorine in the pool is there to neutralise it. The concern is about poo getting into the water and these are snug to make sure it doesnt escape.

They where very small for my boy, he leaked poo, luckily he was in towel in my mums hands. I think the sizing is way off. We only used them once and purchased another make.

sorry you found the sizing off for your child we've never had this feedback in the 10 years we've been stocking them. They are designed to be very snug so as to keep everything inside. Splash About happy nappy is the approved brand for UK swimming pools as it conforms to the new British swimming pool standards.

We haven't had any poos to the put the nappy to the test, but it's great otherwise! It has also survived an accidental 60 degree wash (wouldn't recommend) and still works great. Only issue is that the sizing comes up small. My 22lb 5mo is in the XXL - not sure what we'll do when he grows out of it...

If you are looking for a reliable swim nappy this is perfect. I use it with the inner cotton but no liner. Not had any number twos to deal with yet but feel very confident that they would be contained,.

Bought a medium size for my 12 week old in hope he would grow into it but was far too big. Have now purchased the smaller size which works well - a bit tricky to get on but I guess that is necessary to ensure no leaking!!

My little one loves to swim and this is a great product to allow us to take to the water with confidence. It is difficult to get on, but well worth the effort and seems to be comfortable and secure. My only gripe is that there is no adjustment in these nappies, which is a necessity to prevent unwanted leakages but my son doesn't quite conform to the standard size. The result is a slight balloon effect around the midriff - thankfully he doesn't care about appearances just yet!

Great-looking and snug fitting. Does the job and looks so cute, like old-fashioned bathing trunks! I think they are made on the small side, so check sizing before ordering.

This is required by my daughter's swim school. Fits snugly and a really pretty print (Tutti fruiti). Thankfully it's containment ability hasn't been tested yet, but I'm confident it will perform when inevitably it eventually will be.
If I have one complaint it is that it can be a bit of a job to get it on a wiggly baby, however this is also the aspect that prevents leaks!

I ordered this for the summer as she was growing out of her medium happy nappy but the xl seems much bigger and she's not grown into it yet. Otherwise I've always loved using happy nappies, I don't know why anyone would youse disposable swim nappies as I just rinse it and hang it with her swimming costume
