Really like Charlie Banana for our little one. Like that it comes with two different sized inserts so you can have a slimmer looking nappy or use the other as a booster. The only downside is that it recommends washing at 40 degrees so when you have other brands that can all be washed at 60 it’s a bit of a pain.

I was recommended to try this brand by a friend as one of my 16 month old twins has skinny legs and we have problems with gaping at the legs with many brands. As this has the bra strap design you can size the legs to fit your baby. Unfortunately the markers on the leg elastics rubbed off after the first wash (indicating S,M, L etc). The inserts are surprisingly absorbent and quick drying. They wouldn't be suitable for night time but suit us fine in the day. It's tricky to fit other brand inserts in the pockets, perhaps this is because when the elastic is narrowed down it doesn't leave much room. Overall fits the intended purpose.

My baby ended up being a month early and was rather skinny when we brought him home. We started really using cloth at about 2 weeks and the Charlie Bananas were the only BTP nappies that fit. They don't look giant, even on a small baby. We have never had a leak with them and I love the adjustability of the legs, not just with the bra strap elastic, but the poppers setting as well. CBs are our go to nappy.

We have used these since day one of our little un's arrival and have been very pleased.
They come with two pads per nappy, one small and one large. We have had to use both since week three to avoid leaks (we have a heavy wetter). If you have a boy I think you also need to be careful to make sure the pads are at the front - again, limits leakages.
The nappies when made up are not too bulky meaning you can get enough in a change bag for a day out and clothes aren't too adversely impacted.
We have 15 nappies which means we wash one load a day. The outer is almost dry from the spin cycle and the pads dry easily in a day both on the line or inside.
These are not great night nappies as they don't hold the volume, we change every 2/3 hours.
My only slight bugbear is that the fitting involves quite a bit of trial and error (and outfit changes!) as there is not guidelines for the sizes. Once you have that sorted these are great and have even converted my sceptical hubby to the world of reusables.

These nappies are soft beautifully soft and the fact they feature the bra strap technology's means they even work well for my daughter at only 7 days old weighing 7.5lbs with really skinny legs! I can't comment on how well they work for older children as I used different cloth nappies with my older child, but I would certainly consider investing in more of these nappies for my daughter.
They have washed well so far (only a couple of times admittedly) and dried really quickly (which is vital to us as we don't have a tumble dryer). Very impressed with the Charlie Bananas and would recommend them from what I've seen so far.

Lovely bold prints. Really good fit around my daughters legs - no leaks which had become a daily occur acne with disposables. Only reason not 5* elastic around legs very fiddly (but worth it for great fit as I trialled a quite a few pocket nappies before choosing CB nappies)
