Our Nappy Lady wipes are fantastic quality and value. The washable wipes, or reusable wipes, have terry cotton on one side and a smooth fleece layer on the other. This fabric combination make for a very versatile wipe, offering a suitable surface whatever clean up is needed.

For a pooey nappy the terry side is ideal, as the fabric loops grip the poo for a quick and thorough clean up. The fleece side is ideal for finishing up or wet only nappies as it's so smooth and soft. The fleece side is also perfect to use during teething when skin can become more sensitive. The edges are fully bound making them long lasting.

The wipes are approx 15cm x 20cm, which is a perfect size for clean ups and fully covers your hands. The Nappy Lady wipes are bigger than other best selling brands making them better for Dad's larger hands too!  Each packs contains 10 wipes and full full time use we recommend you have 40 wipes in total.

How To Use Washable Wipes:

You can store the washable wipes in a tupperware box so they are wet and ready to go. As they are used you can put them in the nappy bucket and wash with the nappies (up to 60 degrees). There is no need to dry them when they come out of the wash. Just put them back in the tupperware box, add some more water to make them damp and they're ready again. They won't go stale or stagnant as you'll go through them too quickly. A full time set of 40 wipes will last approx 15-20 nappy changes.

Many people who do not use cloth nappies still use washable wipes, as they are so much kinder on the skin and the pocket.

These premium wipes are as good if not better than the big name ones I also purchased during real nappy week. They are very soft, even after line drying, and absorbent without being too drippy.

Great reusable wipes

These have been lovely- the fleece side is nice and soft, and the terry side is great for some of the trickier messes and poos.

Nice to use but pricey
Monday, 22 May 2017  |

I like using reusable wipes with warm water as it is gentle on my baby. These are the only wipes I have used and are fine though I do think you could make your own for a lot less money. They are quite thick which in certain circumstances is good but sometime I still use cotton wool instead for a little more precision! We used these wipes with water from birth but took a little break as they were a bit rough on newborn skin and baby got a rash (I'm sure not just because of these wipes), we used cotton wool for a while which seemed gentler but now are back to these wipes with no problem.

Much better than disposables

Really soft and easy to use. You'll need some sort of container for them to keep them wet.

Excellent all arounders

I bought some cheaper wipes elsewhere, but didn't find them fit for purpose for poo, so they were relegated to face wipes after meals. These are the only wipes you'll need to buy. Fluffy, sturdy, soft, and they do the job to get rid of the most stubborn poo very well or to wipe little hands or faces. So far they've washed and dried very well and the stitching seems to be holding up well.

I bought a pack of ten to boost my existing wipes (cheeky wipes) but they don't match up to them. They are larger, but I don't find that much of a help. I find the fleece side doesn't dry well as suggested. I tend to go straight for my cheeky wipes instead.

We love these wipes
Sunday, 3 July 2016  |

We didn't get these initially because washable wipes seemed a step too far, but the first time I changed a nappy out of the house I realised how weird it felt to be keeping the nappy but throwing away the wipes. We got these and have never looked back. They are so much easier to use than commercial wet wipes - I always ended up pulling several out each time but with these wipes it's easy just to take one and they are so large and sturdy you only need one for a wet nappy. For a dirty nappy we usually use two; never more than three. Washing them is as easy as washing the nappies.

At home we keep a few pre-wetted. We submerge them in water and then wring them a bit so they are wet/damp, and then keep them in a clear plastic bag (in fact, an empty Boots cotton wool bag) next to the changing mat. We keep a dry one for drying baby off after wiping him down. When out of the house we use the Cheeky Wipes Out & About bag which is perfect for them.

We bought 40, but we've actually only used 30 which is plenty (washing every other day). I've held back the other 10 for wiping hands and face when he starts eating food...

Fab wipes that save both money and time!
Monday, 20 June 2016  |

Before my LO was born I decided that I would use muslins as nappies until he was big enough for re-usables and then added these wipes to my order because Nappy Lady recommended them on my advice letter. Unfortunately the muslins as nappies didn't work out but these wipes were brilliant from the beginning. Even with a tiny newborn these were never any trouble to wash, they just went in with his clothes and muslins (everything went on a 60 in those first few weeks). Having thought these might be a step too far, especially for my husband, they turned out to be an unexpected success and I honestly don't know what I would have done without them! I once forgot them and had to use a free sample pack of wipes that I had in the change bag. It was a disaster, they just slid over his poo and didn't take any of it off despite using most of the pack (while I worried about the chemicals!). Thank goodness I was at a children's centre and they had cotton wool! I tend to use two for a poo with any (rare) marks left after washing being removed with a bit of sunshine, and I pop some vinegar as a softener in the final rinse. I always use a bowl of warm water so haven't got round to using any of the recipes and I wet them under a tap when we're out. My brother-in-law has his eye on them for car cleaning when I'm finished with them but they're far too good for that!

Fantastic wipes
Tuesday, 17 May 2016  |

I have been looking to get rid of all disposable wipes etc in my home and these have been a fantastic investment. They are strong and soft and keep botties/faces/hands clean and fresh without the need for any nasties. Brilliant for my daughter who is prone to getting eczema as I can make up my own potion to keep them in.
