The Mother-ease Wizard Uno Stay Dry is an ultra slim ultra reliable reusable nappy.
The Wizard Uno all in one has the waterproof cover and absorbent core attached so no stuffing or inserts to fold. The Wizard Uno is is the most convenient choice in the Motherease range as it requires no preparation before use, it's as close as you can get to a disposable nappy while being a washable one!
The absorbent nappy cord has the famous exclusive Motherease Stay Dry layer which is dry to the touch even when wet. When I first used this nappy I thought my daughter hadn't wee'd even though she'd been wearing her nappy for 3 hours, this obviously concerned me so I went to change her anyway! When I got out the new clean nappy I could immediately tell she had been weeing as the new nappy was lighter, the staydry insert really was that good and having done 15,000+ nappy changes between my own three children it takes a lot to surprise me!
Wizard Uno Onesize is available in two sizes:
The waist is adjustable through a series of poppers and each nappy has an elasticated waist and back.
You’ll see from the photo the poppers are vertically positioned in two rows which in my testing gives the securest popper fastening far superior than other popper fastening nappies which are in one row
Wizard Uno Stay Dry have hygienic washability and are quick drying. Wash water flows through easier and more effective water extraction through spinning. The Wizard Uno dries as quickly as any separated pocket nappy.
If you find your baby needs additional absorbency as they get older you can place additional boosters between cover and absorbent core for naps or overnight .Added boosters auto eject in the wash.No need to unstuff soiled nappies.
Many people find the Wizard Uno can be used for their baby at for night time with additional boosters HOWEVER for a heavier wetter we strongly recommend you use the sister nappy Wizard Duo with the night time insert, or a bamboozle with Motherease Airflow cover as these combinations have even higher capacity for night time.
Read our article for more information and photos on how to adjust one size nappies.
Mother-ease do not use fleece in their reusable nappies or on nappy boosters like other brands do. Fleece slows absorption and that can cause leaks so Motherease had their own special staydry fabric created.
Mother-ease Staydry fabric is entirely different to any other staydry fabric on the market and it is made JUST for them! Mother-ease use a specially knit fabric that creates a stay dry barrier by the weave in the fabric. It allows the wetness to easily pass through, but not back. Keeping the babies skin dry to the touch.
Another neat aspect is that they include a cooling yarn as well. This keeps the temperature inside the nappy lower - cooler for baby and reduces the growth of bacteria.
Please remember as with any all in one nappy that the Wizard Uno nappy will undergo A LOT of washing as it's washed after every single use. The waterproof cover is the most important part as it keeps babies clothes dry however this part is also the most delicate. If you are planning more children then also consider the Wizard Duo two part system as the wrap poppers off separately so can be easily replaced if the cover should wear over time.
As with any all in one nappy they are not guaranteed to remain 100% leak-free without boosting for the duration of one child birth to potty. You may find you need to start boosting your diapers at some point in your 2.5 year(approx) journey. It is also always recommended to change your child's diaper at least every 2 hours to avoid leaks.
Line Drying - hang to dry in your basement or outside on the line. (Tip - Sun naturally removes stains. Even works on a cold, winters day as long as the sun is out
Machine Drying - Toss in your dryer on medium heat (low for covers). (Tip - Tossing line dried diapers into your dryer for a short cycle will fluff them up but tumbling action adds additional wear)
*Coloured diapers may bleed and should be washed accordingly

When washing your covers Motherease recommend you wash them in a mesh bag to keep them away from Velcro on your nappies and from getting caught in washing machine doors. Always secure the Velcro on your wraps so they don't stick to the binding in the wash. Please contact us if you think you have a faulty product and need to claim under the Motherease warranty. We will liaise with Motherease for you. Motherease will require any product to be returned or destroyed before a replacement. The manufacturer may ask for proof of which detergent you have been using during the period you've had the item so we strongly recommend you keep your receipts you can prove you've been washing following the supplier's guidelines. A photo of the detergent box and a photo of the detergent ingredients will be needed plus receipts of detergent purchases in the time you have owned the faulty nappies (usually 1 or 2 receipts showing purchases across the previous 6 months). If you have bought Motherease's detergent through us during the time you've used the nappies please let us know and we'll have all your receipts already on record for you.
This is simply the best nappy ever made. Trim fit, keeps my baby incredibly dry, so simple to use. I've tried lots of different nappies but keep coming back to the Unos. Save money don't bother with anyother nappy just buy Unos in the first place!
Wizard Unos are hands down my favourite nappy. Really easy to use, looks slim, great containment and my baby seems very comfortable in it. The only reason I’ve given 4 stars instead of 5 is that I think the cotton uno is slightly better than the staydry but for me, only marginally. Definitely recommend this nappy.
Brilliant nappies and service, thank you!
So easy to use as all in one design. Really absorbent and quick drying (our other reusable ones take days, these are usually dry within the day). Initially I bought just a few as they are the more expensive option but will be buying more as they are quicker to turn around and are reliable.
Brilliant nappy, looks comfy, easy to use and no leaks!
I have always been a fan of Sandy’s and Airflows, so thought I would give a Wizard Uno a try. I can’t believe how slim this nappy is for a reusable! Honestly, it’s like a disposable! And it works great. Big fan and will probably add another to my collection.
I remember panicking when my daughter got to about 9/10 months because she seemed to outgrow unos since she’s on the 99th centile. Now that she is older, she is still exceptionally tall but these somehow fit again. I think they are very useful to have for a toddler because the containment is so good and the slimness means they fit under clothes. They can also handle a flooding wee. I imagine that this is why they are quite wide between the legs as that absorbency has to go somewhere.
Really nice nappies, so easy to use as all in one, they fit really well and seem to be one of the easiest to get to fit right without leaks or leaving red marks. They dry quickly for an all in one. On the more pricey side compared to others, but I can see why. Such cute designs too, hoping some new ones get added!
My little one has been using these for about a month now and we’ve never had a leak. I generally boost with 1 hemp booster but the nappy itself is so slim fitting it’s still not too bulky. They do take a while to dry but it’s definitely worth it- wish I’d ordered more!
I love the uno. Really absorbent, great containment and dry in no time. So soft and lightweight it feels as light as a disposable. Downside: they fit small so if you have a high centile baby they may not last until potty training. Don't go off the suggested 35lb - my daughter is 8.5m and 23.5lb and the last waist popper is tight now.
We bought this nappy for our heavy wetter to combat rashes. We thought having the dryest possible top layer would help keep our little one's skin pristine and this nappy does the trick! We pull it out the stash at the first sign of rash, keeping her botty dry.The nappy's top layer is impressive. It feels (fairly) dry even when underlayers are saturated. Lots of room beneath the main pad for thick boosters. Did find the main pad is very prone to piling and snagging in the wash, so extra care has been required when washing to prevent this.Containment is excellent, as you'd expect from Motherease.
4 stars only because the one size - my baby will likely outgrow this nappy fast. already snug at 9 months, 10kg
These nappies are excellent. No leaks and keep everything contained. Plus I love all the designs.
These are my favourite of a few all-in-one styles I tried. They air dry quite quickly, and are easy to size on my 14lb baby. They are the slimmest fitting of all the nappies I tried and have stood up to some intense poo explosions. I was originally going to go for the all-in-two style, but decided I needed something as simple as it gets-- these really are incredibly easy to use.
Customer review of free product.Motherease Unos are slim and easy to put on. They are very reliable, with even the stay dry option lasting close to 3 hours for my medium heavy wetter. A great all in one option.Only reason they aren't a 5 star for me is the washing requirements: they need a different detergent to the rest of my stash.
A lovely all in one nappy. The pattern is lovely and it's great quality.
It doesn’t leak and is a nice neat fit. I wish I’d got some sooner. My twins are too wriggly now to use Nappies with poppers full time so I use Velcro ones at home and these or a bamboozle and airflow wrap when out
These nappies work really well and I did like them. They were very reliable and I never had leaks. But I give them only three stars because the binding on all of them started getting really rough and eventually started getting holes after only a year of use. I did follow washing instructions (that kept changing) and only line dried, never in tumble dryer. All in all, great working nappy but not good investment if you're planning to use them on multiple children.
This is such a good nappy. We had our first as pack of a nappy lady trial kit and it was so clearly the best out of all the nappies we were sent. Slim fitting yet never has a leak and lasts 4 hours (perhaps more I’ve never tried!), fairly quick to dry, easy to fit even for a novice. Really good nappy and not the most expensive. I have managed to get a few more since the trial but they sell out so quickly it is difficult to purchase enough to have them as your whole nappy stash. We have found other nappies that suit us too but still love the uno
I love my uno staydry nappies - they are really slim, lovely design, and completely reliable. I've been gradually building my supply whenever I can get hold of them. I find the staydry ones dry quicker than the organic, and are softer since we live in a hard water area and line dry.
Absorbant nappy which is easy to fit. Lasts us a good three hours and has contained a few shocking number 2s. The print is so pretty too.
These are just the best cloth nappies we’re tried. They are so easy to use, the absorbency and drying time are excellent, and we’ve never had a leak. They are relatively slim for a cloth nappy so don’t look bulky under clothes, and the prints are lovely. The only downside is the limited supply - please make more Motherease!
the most slim and absorbent nappy! There is definitely no looking back!
I've got 6 of these nappies (staydry) and while they're ok they're really not worth all the fuss and hype they get. They are slim fitting but I often get leaks after a couple of hours. If the legs are fitted correctly they can leave angry red marks that are more than just a sock mark, fit the nappy loser and you risk the pee leaking straight out of the side. The prints are boring and the nappy washes up a dull grey/white colour. I've considered selling mine for a while but have held off to see if things improve as my 14lb baby grows. I prefer Freetimes, Thirsties and Miolovia at the moment. Even my Baba and Boo is more loved tbh.
These nappies are magic! I have an extremely heavy wetter and yet have got 4-5 hours out of these nappies regularly. They are leak proof and poo explosion proof. They aren’t cheap, but quality costs. The patterns are adorable too. These are my favourite nappies by far.
I have 2 of these in our collection, an original when they first came out a year ago ? and the newer ones. Though NL has never mentioned the change in fabric the newer ones are a slightly different top liner with just microfiber underneath. Both last for around 2 - 3 hours and feel almost dryish when wet. Theyre also quite slim however they mark our lo around the legs whichever way we adjust and the inside of one of the poppers, smooth bit, leaves an angry red mark around the groin area. There are lots of cheaper nappies around which are just as good and I doubt wether they do actually fit to 35lbs as our lo weighs 23lbs and is well filling them out now at 13 months. I really wouldn't fret about buying any. If you love ME buy the Onesize.
We absolutely love this product, it is my partners go to nappy, as he describes it as 'quick on the bum, get the job done' for our wriggly 12 month old. However, I do not enjoy sourcing these nappies. I find the whole process really stressful and that's why I am only giving 4 stars. Sorry!
I have not purchased this nappy and whilst I would like to, it is not clear to me why you can only buy two per customer? This is a massive disincentive to buying this nappy. Alongside this it does not appear to be readily available for purchase anywhere else.
Due to the demand we have limited to 2 per customer. This is to help prevent people buying large quantities and selling on ebay. We are trying to share the limited quantity fairly.
Love these nappies so much! They are so worth the stress of trying to hunt then down and buy as they are in short supply. The new style nappies have a microfibre underneith..... Working perfectly so far but I have noticed that even after 1 wash threads come lose from the knitted microfibre side so I'm hoping this doesn't became a problem. Fit and slimness and prints all are superb.
I love mother ease products, i’m Yet to be disappointed with anything I’ve bought . The wraps and inserts of the Duo’s work really really well. I am relatively new to cloth nappies and I have always found these nappies really was to fit, love the prints, are pretty slimline and really absorbent. They’ve made the transition to cloth really easy for me- love them!!
This is a wonderful nappy - the stay dry feel is really good. We’ve never had a leak with these and I like that they are elasticated both at the front and at the back (around the waist). My little one really likes them too. Just wish they weren’t so hard to get!
Fantastic nappy, Iove how quick they dry and how you can boost them really easily if you need them to last that bit longer. I always wash in a mesh bag so that pul doesn't get damaged as I've heard it's very delicate. Service from Nappy Lady excellent as always
I really didn’t want to fall in love with this nappy due to difficulty in getting hold of them! However on first try I am an addict! Lovely slim and light nappy! The stay dry lining keeps my baby dry and comfortable. The nappy is very absorbent even on my heavy wetter I’ve had no leaks and it washes and dries quickly. I need more!!
Definitely the best nappies ever. Having already been converted to Mother-Ease with the Airflow wraps, I wanted something that was more simple for childcare and less bulky, but just as reliable, so tried these. They're like magic - they really do stay dry! They seem really comfortable on my 9 month-old too. He's a night feeder and it even survived a night with a ME cotton booster which I didn't expect. Worth the stress of trying to get hold of! Great service from Wendy too. Thank you.
No leaks and dries so fast
I like that theese nappies feels dry even after several hours, and we also have not had a single leak while using them together with a motherease booster. I found, however that the nappy was quite short on my 12 month old, and I am pretty sure they will not last her until potty training.
After persistent issues with other brands, we tried this nappy and haven't looked back. The containment and absorbency of this nappy is second to none. Although the stay dry is the most popular we also love all the cotton, bamboo and organic Uno/Duo options and find that these don't compromise much at all with absorbency. They are the only brand of nappy that doesn't exacerbate my daughter's eczema. We also love the bold prints. The only flaw is that they are constantly sold out as they are so popular! Can't wait to buy more when back in stock.
They are absorbent, quick to dry and look amazing, what's more to like? They've even converted my in laws who were very anti cloth!
These are my third type of reusable nappy that I have tried, and wish I had just gone straight to these. They are super absorbent, smell is always contained and not bulky in the slightest. My husband who really does not like the idea of fiddly reusable nappies even approves because they are simply like a disposable nappy, just with poppers. It's worth the extra money for the minimal effort and absorbency they provide.
We are new to cloth nappies and started using the Wizard Uno when our daughter was around 8 weeks. We're so glad we went them, they're so easy to use, wash and dry. We haven't had any leaks and that includes going for quite long stretches. They dry overnight on an airer and are fine to use first thing in the morning - perfect!
I was keen to try reusable nappies but was concerned they would be time consuming, difficult to put on and not effective. This nappy has totally changed my view. They are expensive but I intend to buy a few each month and eventually using them full time. They are just great.
The motherease wizard uno nappies are fab, beautiful designs and slim profile, they are a comfy nappy on my toddler with a good fit. Only negative is with a dirty nappy, the outer is prone to staining which I've not yet found a way to reverse.
Love love love this nappy. Quick to dry trim fitting and leak free for up to 4 hours for my heavy wetter. Beautiful pattern and stay dry later means no liner needed. No prep needed after washing just pop the booster in and it's ready to wear. Can't recommend this nappy enough!
At first I wasn’t sure we’d get on with this nappy as trying to get a good fit on a very active toddler is hard ( as most of us already know)! However, this nappy is amazing, once we had worked out a good fit, it works just as well on our 5month old and our 20 month old. The nappy is light and quite slim fitting, but really absorbent. Although not really a night nappy we have had 8 hrs out of this with no leaks when the toddler fell asleep early. The drying time with these nappies is unbelievable, I wish I’d found this nappy sooner.
Really great nappy. It lasted longer than i was expecting, and dries faster than expected aswell
Wish these existed as one size when I had my eldest, they have all the perfect qualities - absorbent, slim, fast drying and easy to use. No preparation or stuffing needed either. They are more expensive than most but worth every penny because of how easy they make it to use cloth. Only negative is prints - I'm not a fan of most of the original prints that they come in and would prefer block colours - fall prints are lovely but they are only here for short term and difficult to get before they sell out.
They are super easy to use, soft, cute, well thought out and dry quickly. Although I am inclined to prefer natural fabrics I have to admit this one dries quicker and feels more absorbent than other natural cloth ones I tried. Will buy a few more. Would have loved to just have MotherEase Wizards in my stash but daddy prefers velcro. Would be perfect if they redesigned this with a velcro that can resist through the years like Totsbots for instance.
Wizard Uno are brilliant - so easy and very similar drying time to the Motherease standard nappy and airflow wrap. They aren't quite as 'containing' though, so best not used if you're expecting an explosion! And - great service. So helpful in answering general nappy questions and the ease of ordering was brilliant. I keep recommending you to everyone! Thanks
