Not absorbent, poppers pinged off on 2 nappies! 01 July 2022 | Jeni
I followed the high praise of these nappies and bought 2 of them for my son way a year or two ago. The sewn-on poppers on one of them pinged off and can't be fixed so I've lost my investment in them. Secondly, they always led to leaks! Thirdly, I much prefer velcro to poppers as you have to basically press down hard on your child's tummy to make sure these are done up.

I totally love these nappies, and my stash comprises mainly these. My daughter is very slight, and these fit with no gapes or leaks. We have never had a leak with these nappies, and she is now 18 months old. These are so simple to use that even my husband doesn’t complain about them. They aren’t the fastest drying nappy in cool weather, being cotton, but we live in a hot climate so it isn’t an issue for us. I would absolutely recommend these nappies, especially if your child will be cared for by somebody else at any stage.

Beautiful prints but not right for us. 16 February 2022 | Charlotte
I really wanted to love these nappies, they have beautiful prints, feel well made and were our nappy lady recommendation. However we've struggled to get a good fit on our long slim little one and have had more leaks than with our other nappies (little lamb, tots bots, motherease unos and bear bott). The insert inside doesn't seem to fit as well - its both longer and thinner than the 'pocket' it goes into. They are also exceptionally slow drying - we've got one on the airer next to a little lamb bamboo night nappy and the night nappy is winning drying wise! Given how expensive they are I don't think we'll be adding more to our stash.

Nappies are falling apart! 04 August 2021 | Heather
I really loved these nappies in the beginning and bought 20! We used fleece liners because they were a bit rough after washing but didn't mind as the fleece makes them super. I was hoping to use them until potty training age with my daughter who is now 20 months and use them again with my little boy who is due in November but the cotton inside is completely disintegrating. I am so disappointed!

Generally a very good nappy. Easy to fit, absorbent, slim and no marks from the soft leg elastics. We have however had the odd poo leak - my LO is 15 weeks and has pretty slim legs, so hoping we’ll get better containment as she continues to grow. I’d love more, but they are expensive!

Absolutely love this. Very average build baby, definitely would not suit a chunky thigh baby. So easy to wash and fit. We use a fleece liner and tuck in theirs but great to have it as a back up in an emergency. Not had a single leak. Used from 6months old

Review after 14 months of use 04 April 2021 | Michala
I started using these when my boy was 2 weeks old. I really loved the nappies at the beginning. However, after 14 months of recommended care and use the nappies are falling apart and loosing absorbancy. It is very disappointing as they didn't last till potty training at all! This is not what I would expect such as expensive nappies! I wish I didn't buy them in the first place. Completely lost money

We bought one of these on the recommendation of TNL and after reading all of the positive reviews. They are very absorbent and the first time it was worn contained a very explosive diarrhoea well. Although expensive they are now our go to nappy when travelling and when lockdown ends we will need more I’m sure!

Lovely design and really best fit - absorption is good and room for extra to be added. Poppers easy to do and help modify to fit perfectly. No leaks.

Well-made nappy and they fit my daughter better around the waist than the comparable Bumgenius Elemental.

I thought I’d try and see what the fuss about and now I know) WOW. The fit on our daughter is unlike any AIO we have currently, and I love how soft the inner is!

These are my favourite nappy out of any nappy I've ever tried. These are slim, easy to boost, absorbent and quick drying. I love the all in one design so really quick and simple to use and easy to boost in way or shape too.

For my LO, the Blueberry Simplex was exactly what I was after, rolled elastic legs so we don't get bad sock marks and absorbent do we don't have to change hourly!! Would highly recommend

I have had 2 of these nappies for approx 1 year, washing every 2-3 days and they are falling to bits. The lining is ripping in multiple places on both. I wash them exactly the same way as all the other nappies we have and have no problems with the other brands. It is a shame as they are otherwise great nappies.

Response:
I'm sorry tp hear this. Organic cotton can be more fragile than other materials and won't withstand as harsh a wash routine.
02 August 2020 | Greta
Really wanted to love these but overall a bit disappointed. Great prints and slim design however the inner cotton has worn out more than any of my other nappies and I ended up cutting out the inner bits and transforming them into covers which to be fair work really well.

Best Nappy I've ever tried 30 July 2020 | Samantha
My nappy stash is an eclectic mix, I never found that one nappy which did the job and that I was happy with, untill I tried this one! This nappy is amazing! By far the best nappy I've ever bought. It's a great slim fit for my baby and excellent absorbency! No more buying of any other brand of nappy! Yippee!

Purchased these to try as an alternative to the Bumgenius v5 which we like. So far I am happy with the fit and absorbency of these. I like that they are also very slim and can easily fit under clothes without looking too bulky.

There must be a little magic in these nappies. They are very slimline and narrow but fit my chunky baby perfectly. We have never had a leak and can get 3-4 hours out of one easily. I would buy so many more if only they weren’t so expensive.

I have nothing even slightly bad to say about this nappy. It's just so good! Really good quality materials, containment, and prints. I really like the new organic cotton inner, and how versatile the soaker is (can be laid on top for a staydry option, or stuffed into the nappy which is also great cause you can add another booster if needed for a heavy wetter).
Only downside is the price! I'm hoping the price comes down again so I can buy more and not feel guilty. But so far seems to be worth the spend, as it lasts about 4-5 hours for us!

One of the best all in ones 15 May 2020 | Helen
Without a doubt, Blueberry do the most amazing but also quirky prints. But more importantly they hold a lot of wee before needing to be boosted and I feel the cut of them is very flattering. My daughter is only 5 months old but I feel like by the time she’s walking, the nappy won’t inhibit her at all.

I was sceptical about whether I could love a nappy at this price but I do. It is quick to prep, easy to fit and easy to get 3-4 Hours. I have a 7m old who is tall but with reasonably chunky thighs and the fit is great, no leaks. We have had leaks with lots of other brands - smart bottoms, bum genius, bare and boho. This nappy is one of my faves.

I only have two of these, but they are my new favourites! I love how they have an inbuilt fleece liner, a pocket with the option to boost and also reach absorbency very quickly. I was so excited I put it on before any prewashing and it lasted 2 hours. I just wish I bought more before the price increase!

So pretty and easy to use 18 April 2020 | Lucy
These were our first attempt at reusable nappies and I love them. The prints are really nice and they’re very easy to use and wash. A lot more straightforward than I was expecting! I’d definitely recommend using nappy liners with them too.

Good nappy but very expensive 18 April 2020 | Anita
Good nappy with absolutely gorgeous designs and relatively good absorbtion (although one of my prints leaks every time and I’m still trying to figure out why, as the other I bought around the same time doesn’t)
It is super expensive though and especially with the price increase (I got both mine before that) so I don’t think I’ll be buying any more. There are other, much better value for money nappies out there.

Slim soaker you can fold at the front for a boy and plenty of space for boosters. Not completely leak proof but more reliable - and slimmer - than miosolos.

These nappies are slim fitting so fit under clothes well. I found they didn’t work well for us under 6 months old but have found a new love for them now my boy is a bit older. I can also fit these on my almost 3 year old as an emergency. Smart bottoms fit him better for length though. Easy for dads and childcare to fit as there are only 2 poppers and a good stretch to the nappy so i find it’s forgiving if not fitted quite right. Overall I like these nappies. They aren’t my personal favourite but they have a place In our stash.

Expensive for the quality...not that impressed with this nappy. Difficult to add boosters to but not all that absorbent. Reaching for other nappies first. Having said that doesn't seem to leak- just have to change early.

Been using these for 4 months now and we continue to get leaks all the time. The seams are made such that it is very difficult to tuck the inner lining to the inside and it often peeks out (especially when boosted) and then leads to leaks very quickly. These rarely last more than 2 hours when boosted and never more than 1.5 - 2 when not. My 7-month-old is tall and slim-ish, I dont think he is that heavy a wetter (Tots Bots last 5 hours un-boosted on him). I will however continue to use these because I have 4 costing me a total of £100! Bumgenius work far better for us, but Tots Bots are the most reliable. I bought these as I thought they would look slimmer on, but the difference between them and Tots Bots is not that great - I certainly wouldn't buy them again.

Slim, easy to use and a relatively quick drying time. I love the fit of these on my tall 2 year old and fell these are much less bulky than others we have used. Thank you for the recommendation after completing my questionnaire. Worth the money in my opinion!

Amazing for chunky and slim 09 November 2019 | Sharon
I don't need anymore nappies.... I brought some of these anyway to try.... Now I want at to change my stash to these.
My collection is smart bottoms and tots bots. I love smart bottoms but fit can be tricky for my wriggly babies, espically on my 8 month old with massive thighs! But I love them.
I have a tall skinny 2 year old and chunky massive 7 month old and I find these fit so easy on both boys, really absorbant too and get better after a few washes.
Better then unos (don't rate at all) and all other nappies IMO

Blueberry Simplex All In One - Spellbound 04 November 2019 | Chloe
I bought this nappy in Spellbound because of the print but was pleasantly surprised how great it was. It’s a slim nappy but still very thirsty. I found it really easy to use and a great fit on my son who has chunky thighs! Will be looking to purchase more in the future.

These are by far my favourite cloth nappies. The fit is really good on my slim baby even from a young age. They're really easy yo stuff as they have a gap both sides. The stuffing gap at the top also makes it really easy to do the poppers up. These are easily the nappies I go to most in my stash and the patterns are so nice. Easily worth the extra cost over some of the cheaper nappies I have.

Consistently excellent especially for tall skinny babies 15 October 2019 | Laura
Frankly, these have been the only nappies that have worked for us consistently. We started using cloth when my daughter was 10 weeks / 10 lbs, she's now 5 months / 13lbs and these are the only nappies that have fitted well all the way through. We also have Tots Bots, which were great at first, and are now too loose around the tummy, Baba & Boo, which were good but leak now that she is peeing in larger quantities. Little Lamb size 1 are too small though she is nowhere near 18lbs yet.
Blueberry Simplex are great because:
1. Fit well around the tummy whether larger than hips (as she was at first) or the same (as now).
2. Elastic is ruched around the legs making them fit however tight you have the poppers, without being too tight.
3. Slim fitting between the legs (legs are not pushed too far apart).
4. Slim fitting under the legs - only marginally bigger than a disposable, so doesn't look bulky under clothes.
5. Extremely absorbent, without being wet against baby's bum (we usually use a fleece or disposable liner).
6. Medium drying time - not super speedy, but much faster than bamboo.
7. Holds in all but the most dramatic of poos.
The only thing I would say is to make sure the absorbent part is completely tucked in around the legs / back - a couple of times I did it sloppily and wee wicked out.

I decided to buy a couple of these to try out because everyone seems to rave about them, however these are already on the last waist poppers on my chunky 7 month old so I don't imagine they'll last him until potty! We haven't had any leaks though, so they are reliable. It's a shame because we are in a hard water area and the last couple of washes they've become really crunchy. I am reluctant to put them on my son because they feel like sand paper on his bum! Might have to stick a fleece liner over the top. I can see how they might be ideal for some thinner babies though and even better if you're not in a hard water area.

I like the fit of this nappy. Very neat. I like the ability to adjust the leg and waist poppers separately and absorbency is good. Beautiful designs. Would buy more and a good alternative to Motherease Unos in my opinion.

These are such a good fit on my 9 month old son. He's a shorty, not hugely chunky but definitely a sturdy build. On the smallest rise still at 16lbs. They are slim, absorb well and look great. I love that there's a pocket so the nappy can be boosted in the future if need be.

I love the simplex nappies, but I don’t think they are suited to a heavy wetter unless you boost each nappy. I find these nappies to be the least absorbent in my stash out of unos and elementals which are in my daily rotation (and in fact many other all in ones I have tried). However, I have given 4 stars because the nappy is so customisable. You can choose to stuff the tongue into the pocket and have it neat, or leave it laid on the nappy so baby has a fleece stay dry layer. The pocket can be used to add additional absorbency which I need to do, however boosting them is tricky since they are so trim, the only booster which fits when on the smallest rise is a small little lamb bamboo booster and this gave me almost 3 hours but it was full to capacity, even the tabs and back elastics were wet which is the start of the leaking. The prints are just the cutest too, which is what drew me to this nappy originally. Overall I think this is a great quick drying nappy, but I get up to 4 hours out of an unboosted elemental and longer from an uno so I don’t reach for these around nap times and school run etc.

Really like these nappies 11 July 2019 | Jessica
I’ve found these nappies to be really good. One wash and they were absorbing well and have got better with more washes. The fit is really good and I’ve had no leaks. I also like that you can tuck the long bit behind once you’ve folded how you want (I do more at the front as have a boy) as this makes it more like a ‘normal’ nappy for my husband or anyone else to fit. Find they dry fairly quickly too. Overall am really pleased and would definitely buy more if we needed to

I love these nappies! They come in such beautiful prints and are so reliable. For me, they are on par with Bumgenius elementals. I find they are slightly harder to boost when on the smallest rise than elementals but they dry quicker. Will definitely be buying more!

I bought one of these to try out, I also use wizard uno staydry and bumgenius elemental. I think I prefer the blueberry to the elemental, it's lovely and soft, really easy and stretchy to put on and fits very well on my slim 9mo. The poppers are easier too.
